Clive is one of the most relaxing bars on Rainey Street because of its "Western" feel. Try visiting several of the bars on the street, each has a very distinct personality.

Ask the bartenders what they like to make. They're all very passionate about their craft, and they tend to have a couple of amazing drinks in their back pockets! Or just get a Pecan Porter on draft .

Great cocktail menu . However, some bartenders may need to be reminded that every cocktail should not be shaken. Nightly $6 cocktails during the week and free biscuits and gravy 2nd & 4th Sunday's.

It's crowded on Saturday, but nowhere near as bad as some other areas of town . Good selection of beer and a well made G&T.

This is the "dive-iest" fancy bar in all of Austin. All the class of a high scale lounge with tons more character. Plus with $2 Pearl you can't beat it.

There's an obvious reason why Clive Bar rhymes with "dive bar ," so you can ask the bartender for menus of a couple restaurants across the street.
