Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden

It was my first time here and I decided go safe by ordering a hot dog and God was it the best I've ever had in a long time. It contained just the right amount of ketchup , mustard , and onions . Yum!

Banger 's may be all about sausage , but it's a break from the rest of the Rainey Street yuppie meat market scene. Go for brunch and enjoy live music plus their towering Manmosas. [Eater 38 Member]

Beer overload!!! Too many options and split between two bars . Definitely need to explore your options and try before you buy, if you can stomach some of the obnoxious bartenders .

Awesome place with lots of seating outside , amazing homemade sausages & more than 100 beers on tap ! When they say the Andouille is spicy , they mean it. They REALLY mean it. You've been warned.

There is much space to eat mouthwatering bbq and drink local tasty beers and enjoy the great live music ... draft taps are on the ground floor, plus a small bar with cans/bottles upstairs!!!

Went here at 11am after a very hot run around the lake . When on vacation we like to end our runs at a bar , this one was perfect! Over 100 beers on tap and friendly and knowledgeable bartenders .

Fried chicken sausage was fantastic! Lots of draft beer , michelada bar , and live music ! Hint hint.. the long tables inside the bar area are open seating . Just order food / drink at the bar !

Great venue with ~240 beers on tap - claim to have the biggest selection in Texas! Great sausages as well . Fun outdoor biergarten type area that often has live music (who doesn't in Austin?).

The Duck , Bacon and Fig sausage , and the Rabbit & Mushroom sausage were sooo good. Large portions and messy, but totally worth it. Rabbit is a little spicy .

Amazing beer list ...something for everyone. The homemade sausages are some of the best I've ever had. The bread on the sausage sandwiches is also a highlight. Basically this place is a 10 out of 10.

This is one of my go-to spots to meet friends. The staff is so friendly , bring your dog, grab some food and drink some of the best craft beer from around the world.

The jalapeño Mac n cheese is the bomb! Just tried the bockwurst for the first time and I liked that too. Got a side of Siracha and sauerkraut on top too.

Service is amazing! Nicole was an amazing waitress :) the drunk chicken with jalepeno cream corn is to die for! If your not a beer drinker try the crispin cider with a splash of raspberry beer !

Do not leave without trying something on the food menu. The staff is lively and helpful and the fenced in dog pen makes Banger 's a pet-friendly place where you and your dog can have some fun.

Great service and beer selection . And, one of the only places open on Rainey Street on a Monday. Perfect for old guys like me who don't want to hang out with the usual Rainey Street crowd.

I haven't tried the sausage , but I definitely love that there are so many beers on tap . The outside seating is great for meeting up with friends.

They have great sausages , local made. They also have a great variety of beers , anything from local breweries to famous ones.

So friggin' delicious. The duck , bacon , fig , the spicy pickle jar app, and the heavenly snickers mason jar dessert are particularly incredible.

The bratwurst is delicious. The potato salad isn't really German, but it is tasty (the bacon flavor is strong). It's loud , but the food, beer , and service are great!
