(DTLA Arts District & Long Beach ) - my favorite slice joint. On Tuesdays cheese , pepperoni & vegan slices are only $2. They now serve beer & wine , too.

Pricey ($20 for 18" pep) and a tad close to Skid Row, but this NY style pie is well worth it. Sauce is excellent, pep has a nice spice and a lot of cuties from the American Apparel HQ down the street.

My neighborhood pizza spot . Grab a slice (Meat Jesus and Veggie are my favorites) and eat it at Tony's. The salads are also pretty good, they now serve beer and wine too.

They sell pizza by the slice. They have vegan options . There is limited seats but you can bring the pizza next door to the bar .

Contender for best pizza in LA . Great variety of pies, most (maybe all) of which are available by the slice. $2 slices of cheese/pepperoni on Tuesdays.

Definitely in my Top 5 of best pizza places . Try the Meat Jesus, and on Sundays only you can grab a slice of Macaroni and Cheese pizza !

A truly impressive crust for a NYC style pizza in LA ... not surprising considering Steve Samson (of Sotto) developed the recipes!

Good prices and an eclectic soda selection... and that's about it. I tried the mac and cheese pizza and meat Jesus pizza and both were really average and just kind of bland. Wouldn't go again.
