Learn more about the people native to Florida through interactive exhibits in the Cultural Center or explore the preserve by foot, kayak , canoe or paddleboard. Guided hikes are offered on Saturdays!

Fantastic spot to see lots of wildlife . Alligators, big and small, wading birds, snakes , frogs, turtles . Great boardwalk and trails .

Open Thursday-Sunday, visit the free museum and learn about the Weedon Indians. Check in with a photo of the island preserve sign and tag #WhereSummerRocks.

I like to go during low to mid tides less ducking thru the mangroves really only have to get out n walk a couple feet at sign 4

Great free history museum for all ages, but sadly now only opened Thurs-Sunday!
