I hadn't been to DW's in 20 yrs & was pleasantly reminded of childhood memories today. Fast service , hot food, & the batter was so crisp! There's a reason they've been around this long: awesome fish !
The haddock was amazing!!! The chips are very thick and sometimes aren't very crispy . Very tender flaky buttery fish .
Wednesday & Thursday Seafood Platter (Halibut , Shrimp , Scallops , hand-cut chips and coleslaw ) is a good choice
They have been in business forever and still seem to have "it". Great fish and even better chips .

Ok service was great but the portions were small. I would go elese where for larger portions at a good price.
We love the old tyme feel of this shop, which opened in 1930. Try the Eat-In Only House Special , with halibut , chips , coleslaw , bread , and a drink. Fresh, light, crispy , greaseless, and oh so tasty. Read more
