Devil's Slide Coastal Trail

It is a very family friendly paved trail , a little over one mile. Separate lanes for bikes and pedestrians. Restrooms at each end of the trails as well as small parking lots .

Converted from a former segment of Highway 1, this trail gives hikers a fun way to explore the area with observation scopes and cliff side overlooks.

Add a little distance and venture off-pavement at the Pedro Point Headlands. Connection at the north parking lot entrance.

Gorgeous views from the top of the hill by the canon bunker, or whatever that crazy-looking structure is.

Awesome place for a quick walk on what used to be part of Highway 1. Beautiful views for not much effort.

So nice that they turned it into a trail and wildlife preserve after building the tunnels . Such a peaceful place .

Park at the southern end if possible so you do the uphill section first, and downhill on the way back to the car.

There is more parking at the southern entrance than the northern one
