All time SoCal classic. I grew up eating here and it's still great. Manhole cover pancakes and the best breakfast potatoes ever.

Love this place! Great location on the 101, and the Pancakes are incredible....and huge, I also really love the french toast .

Five Star shouldn't exclude Breakfast and Brunch . Their enormous servings cut down on price, but not taste. Try their chocolate chip pancakes , and meat packed sandwiches .

An Encinitas classic spot. Order "C" with a child-sized pancake with apple cinnamon or banana walnut .

The toast is a must! It's thicker than any bread I've ever seen! Filling!

Can't get enough of the Potato Shack. Check out their man hole cover size pancakes and the bread ...yum. Nice outside eating area!

Seriousky?! I'm sorry... The server was very nice but the food... I make better bacon and eggs at home. The Bacon was like jerky and the potatoes had NO flavor. We were disappointed...
