This has been one of the most interesting and accommodating hotels I have ever stayed in. Not only is the design of the hotel unique in both architecture and decor, but the staff is also super chill .
Check in was pleasant friendly and efficient and we were even offered a welcome cocktail that was delicious ... Lemon juice with a hint of mint and plenty of vodka .. Fab!
Friendly staff , walking distance to The French Quarter and a free cocktail . Don't forget to visit the hotel parrot mascot. Third time here! :)
If you get hungry late at night, call in or go get delicious food (pizza , salad , sandwiches ) at Magazine Pizza .
Hotel Modern is in a great location, convenient to everything. The staff was friendly and the rooms are very nice.
Internet service is great and it's central so you can bike to the garden district and then to French quarter. Right off trolley line too.
Great bar with a bartender who makes an art out of mixing a drink. Staff excellent. Close to quarter. Love this place
The beds are just a step above sleeping on the floor. But the hotel almost makes up for it with it's anthropologie-esque charm and hipster southern hospitality .
Air conditioning and internet both work well . Could do with a new hair dryer. Plenty of space to hang and store your stuff and there is a safe.
Grab a drink at Bellicq before heading back to your room for the night. You can take the drink with you rather than raiding the mini-bar.
Just arrived.Room is spacious , bed very comfortable , shower is huge but fixtures and fittings could do with replacing as they are a little old and abused. Has mini bar and coffee machine but no kettle
Be sure to say hello to Miss Scarlet the parrot . If you're nice she'll give you a wolf whistle.
Cool enough, but leaves a lot to be desired. Rooms are a tad bit shabby, which is odd for such a new hotel .
Ask the front desk for a bike and ride around the city . - free
Amazing service, nice quant rooms, and location location location!
Can't recommend this place unfortunately. The sheets were cheap and scratchy, the walls were paper thin - was kept up all night by the family next door.
Visit Alex at the hotel bar and ask him to make you the fancy old fashion!
Some rooms on floors 1-3 require an outdoor walk to get to them from elevators .
Great hotel ...service...rooms are kept very clean
Fell in love with Scarlett the parrot !
Lock your stuff up... They have house keepers who steal iPads... Ugh
Very contemporary !
People reviewing this hotel could never figure out how to keep the motion sensor AC on, JUST SWITCH FROM AUTO TO "ON"

Maybe its been an odd 3 days, but my experience with the Internet has been that it didn't work.
Housekeeping does not understand the meaning of 'do not disturb'.
Beautiful hotel right on bourbon st. GREAT location , very friendly and attentive staff. The manager even sent champagne and strawberries to our room for my 40th birthday!5 stars definitely recommend - Jennifer Kane
It’s a great place to launch from. Plenty of shops for that item you forgot at home. Convention space is awesome. The views from the suites are amazing. Concierge has the tips for the hidden gems. - James Palmer
Historic hotel, luxurious, courteous staff, soft beds, amazing pillows. Great place to stay. I'm coming back - Nelson V. Guevara
The Cochon Muffaletta was delicious! And I strongly recommend the marinated brussels sprouts! - Tiffany Larson
The ham is great and is a must! Also, the red beans and rice are probably the best in the city and worth the trip. - BostonMike Lewis
