If you go in the morning say hello to Nate. If you go in the afternoon you will see one of the morning baristas panhandling out front (no it is not Nate)
The staff here are hit or miss. A few are very friendly and the rest seem to hate working there and it comes across in their interactions....even more evident when they are taking orders.
A coworker and I placed an online order of 3 drinks. The first 2 were ready, but we had to wait over 10 minutes for a dark roast . Barista hoarded 6+ drinks & changed trash bag instead of handing out.
Do you like coffee , but have always thought: "how could I make this process take as long as possible?" well , this starbucks has your solution!
If you're running low on batteries around the Smithsonians, this is the closest Starbucks and has plenty of outlets to recharge electronics .
Convenient to metro, busy in the morning.
Service is slow so order ahead. Also, no Clover here.
You really can't go wrong with the pumpkin cream cheese muffin . Yum!!
The baristas don't really listen your order so be patience..
Meh - am over Starbucks. Much prefer la colombe
One huge mess.
Slow slow slow service, and the cashier will ignore you for five minutes while he has a conversation with his friend over your shoulder. Will NOT be going here again!
Ya don't block the door lol
Newsflash: the new "less waste" sleeves are NOT thick enough. Useless.
I think the barista is having a tough day focusing on correct orders. :-( me x2
Yes--don't block the door!
ssssssslllllllllloooooooowwwwwwww
Anyone have an iPhone charger?
Worst starbucks ever. Fire the whole staff .
Rude workers. Sour whipped cream and didn't even apologize.
Worst chai of my fucking life. So upset.
Do not block the door!!!
Gorgeous and relaxing (when it's not terribly busy) urban refuge. Highly recommended spot. - Jonathan Coffman
The Italian sandwich is just about perfect. Tell them to put everything on it. - David Owen
The cafe great. Museum very disappointing. Of all the great things to learn and art of our native North Americans this museum misses. Building is beautiful. - Richard Revilla
