Treat yourself to an evening of old school NYC. Start with cocktails , then oysters and steak tartare ... and see where the night takes you!
This place is fabulous. Amazing food and awesome attendance. Try their tenderloin steak tartare . As entrées, vodka rigatoni and layered white lasagna .
Pick your poison: gin or vodka (martinis )
A very “Mad Men”-esque watering hole – especially when you get a perfectly made Manhattan , an interesting Monkey Gland or a sweet Southside Fizz .
A fun, faithful facsimile of gilded age Gotham, from the menu to the murals . Order the most old-school stuff on the menu and enjoy.
Join the likes of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dorothy Parker, and Fred Astaire by visiting this Manhattan institution (Also look for those figures on the Edward Sorel three-paneled mural on the back wall)
The bar menu at this clubby New York institution underwent an overhaul and now features delicious small plates and a great burger .
NY Foodie Reco: App: braised pork belly , crispy oyster & Hatch chile kimchee Dinner : Smoked fettucini , w/uni, Hackleback caviar & pickled shallot , Dessert : choc . mousse
Generally good food and drinks. The restaurant area is much nicer than the bar . Don't be fooled by the bar area and dismiss the food!
Incredible food, service, and ambiance. Monkey bread is a must.
It’s the kind of place someone with a serious reverence for nostalgic style would imagine: in fact, it was reopened in 2009 by Vanity Fair Editor Graydon Carter and his wife Anna.
great atmosphere. food was good, not excellent. ran into Goldie hawn while at dinner . previous dinner Marc Jacobs was there. celebs like the vibe.
Wow. A slow Monday is worth a visit. Lots of great service. Flexibility w/ menu (I asked for 1/2 portin of a dinner SPECIAL . And they said YES. Lovely food as well
Something a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet: Chinatown Daiquiri with aged rum , muddled strawberries , ginger , honey , lime juice and sriracha
Great place for cocktails , dinner or both. Great place for a business cocktail gathering as well ...
Great for a business lunch . I had the halibut and was satisfied.
Tradition - classic nyc
OMG all I can say is "Bourbon Smash" ! Best Cocktail (a lil to pricey , but soooo good)

Gorgeous mid-town spot for lunch or dinner . Come here to feel like you're doing legit business deeds in the 1950s.
Overpriced but good if you're on a corp Amex. The cote du boeuf was excellent. And the cocktails are solid. Feels kind of like you walked into a Mad Men episode. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
The old fashioned cocktail here is phenomenal, I cannot stop thinking about it. The burger is doused in mayo and did not rock my world
The tiered restaurant seems so much like the sophisticated New York of the wicked ’30s that you’ll look around to see if Nick and Nora Charles are at the next table, feeding one another witty lines .
It may seem pretentious but go in with an open mind and read some Hemingway first. The food is good but some minor details are missing. Atmosphere is why you go.
Beijing peach is great! Jasmine tea -infused vodka , white peach puree, lime juice ;)
Went for restaurant week summer 2017. We were underwhelmed by the food, the highlight was the tiramisu desert . Service was lackluster we seemed an inconvenience to our waiter . Wouldn't rush back
After work drinks spot . Swanky . Nice New York vibe
Great space for nice party! Fantastic food.
Good drinks, crowded on weekdays
Fab place, fab atmosphere and fab food ♥️
Andrew Konomanyi is a successful businessman who owns various ventures all around the world.
Great Midtown business lunch spot . Try the bacon lobster roll .
The monkey gland and the dessert were very good.
Order the no problemo cocktail . Don't worry if its not on the menu
Great, old school New York. Go for the Monkey Gland - I mean, why not?
Drinks, bread , everything!
Atmosphere is outstanding.
Very nice Restaurant Week menu for Summer 2016
Best old fashioned in this area
All business - enjoyed the scotch though.
Amazing mixologist even if the crowd's a bit stodgy
