Sweet mother of Baby Jesus, the fried chicken & waffles is everything it's cracked up to be. Don't fear the sweet honey syrup -- put it on the chicken !
Have one savory dish & one sweet then SHARE. Never had pancakes as fluffy as these, waiters are nice, wait is 1-3hrs but they text you when you're table is ready so you don't have to wait outside ????
For breakfast , I suggest splitting the blueberry pancakes as an appetizer . Spanish scramble and huevos rancheros is great too. From the lunch menu , the Kale salad is my favorite. AND GET THE BELLINI !!
Very delicious pancakes ! Just the right amount of crunch while still being soft and fluffy. Gigantic portions ! Maybe a bit on the drier side but very good overall. I recommend the banana walnut one
God their pancakes are good! So good, the perfect crunch to fluffiness ratio and the toppings are fresh???????? whole ambiance is great, welcoming staff and fast service . Benedicts, waffles and bakery ????
Quite possibly the best pancakes I’ve ever had! The chicken and waffles was phenomenal too. Really crowded so be sure to get there early to put your name down.
Nice place. I recommend the banana walnut pancakes . They are good although I found them a bit dry. Portions are gigantic tho so come hungry.
The service was great and the food delicious. We had a spanish scramble (the best scrambled eggs I ever had) and the farmer's plate. A bit pricey but very tasty, and we were full for the day.
Pretty much the best brunch in NYC.Try not to look like a animal while devouring their Banana Pancakes with Warm Maple Butter . You might have to line up for a while, but it's worth the wait!
The pancake was absolutely amazing, very tasty. However, you should make reservation before coming here especially weekends. We had to wait one and a half hours to get a table. Totally worth it tho.
I had to try it. And it was good. Go at a random time, put your name down, go across the street for a coffee and go for a walk around the LES. Come back before your time is up, order pancakes .
Really lives up to the hype for its pancakes ! Not only that their eggs are to die for, so they aren’t just know for good pancakes and decent eggs ! All around amazing food!!!
I know that this place is famous for their blueberry pancakes , but unfortunately we were in the mood for something savory, so we went with Spanish Scramble , and Steak and eggs . Both were delicious
If you live nearby, use the nowait/Yelp app to get in line ahead of time and avoid waiting outside. Obsessed with the maple butter , and I look forward to pancake month every February.
Don't even get me started about this place, I've probably over-raved it but it is SO fucking great. The pancakes are to die for. Probably the best I've ever had in my whole life, and I've eaten plenty
Pancakes are a bit expensive but they are probably the best pancakes I've ever had. Attentive service. If you get there around 8 am on a weekday there is no line ; by 9 it really fills up.
Best pancakes in NYC (go for the chocolate chips ). Also, the latkes with sour cream/apple sauce are always a good choice. Solid menu all around.
The hour and a half wait was well worth it. The blueberry pancakes are unreal. As are their onion rings . And their double-smoked bacon . Yes, I got all three.
Pro tip: get an order of blueberry pancakes for the table and order a main. Don't sleep on the rest of the menu- latkes with salmon were amazing!
Chocolate chip pancakes were extremely luxurious , i'd like to have seen some more chocolate but maybe I'm greedy.Omelette was fluffy & very tasty. Hash browns were crispy outside creamy inside 10/10
Pancakes ! Reso recommended but you can also show up a bit before opening hours to get seated without waiting as long, and grab a coffee at Pause Cafe across the street.
Th pancakes are good, but the biscuit sandwich is great. Make sure to go in the afternoon to avoid the wait, or use the Nowait app to get on the list. It's cash only !
I come here every single time I visit NYC. Don't care about the waiting list, it's really that good!! The pancakes oh my...the butter maple ...to die for.
I cannot tell you how lip smacking good these pancakes are - you've gotta go and taste them for yourself. You just might be transported to food heaven. Worth the wait.
Most popular for breakfast , but actually very good for dinner as well . Plus, there's never the kind of wait as there is in the mornings. I really enjoyed the fried chicken .
the blueberry pancakes are delish. fried chicken is yummy as well . daily specials are the way to go. come later in the day to avoid a two hour wait.
Yes the pancakes are still really f’in good. Everything else is solid too....just elevated diner food . Grits , veggie sandwich , bacon , coffee all above average for a diner
Amazing is all that I can say about the food here. We waited about an hour to get a table, but it was worth every second. The brunch is superb, goes on until 6pm. Even the OJ tasted good.
Eggs Benny very good. But chicken and waffles to die for. Plain old black coffee also good. Friendly staff didn't rush us during weekday morning brekky . So excited to try their outpost in SG!
Blueberry pancakes are the perfect combination of slightly crunchy outside and pure fluffyness. Go at 9pm on a Monday and enjoy no wait
Blueberry pancakes live up to the hype. The maple butter is excellent. They text you an app to check your wait time so you can go walk around LES while you wait.
Download the NoWait app to check the wait time. I arrived at 9:35am (25 min before opening) on Sunday, and just missed 1st seating. Was called at 10:40am. Worth it.
The good news: you found the best brunch spot in Manhattan. The bad news: by the time you get there there's a 3 hour wait. Get there within an hour of 9 if you want to eat at a reasonable hour.
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had the blueberry pancakes and added some sugar-cured bacon . I don't even know how to describe how good that was.
I have dreams about the smoked salmon scramble . It's so good. Pairs well with a Bloody Mary . Make sure to put your name in before you're hungry - wait can be up to 2 hours.
Great pancakes ! It gets really busy on the weekend, better to visit on a weekday. Still busy, but you won't need to wait for 2 hours
Came at 1pm on a Saturday, and there was no wait for the bar ! Cash only for brunch . Cards accepted for dinner . 1/2 bottle wine on Monday!
Get the pancakes with Maine Blueberries ! Best in NYC. Forget about the scrambled eggs or anything else on the menu. Bottomless coffee isn’t too bad.
always a wait, but well worth the wait! Get there early and put your name on the list, then download the app and keep track of your spot in line .
The pancakes are a must. So fluffy and light and delicious. I took a small amount to go and they were even delicious cold.
Cash only ! The 5 hour wait is totally worth it, or just show up alone and sit in the bar . The blueberry pancakes are a synonym of pure happiness, and the maple butter makes it even better!!
Awesome Breakfast !! The pancake is marvelous, soft, fluffy and moist. The jam is good too. Everything is good except is salty.
CASH ONLY ! Definitely lived up to the hype, my favorite breakfast place in NYC with rotating dishes and drinks. Expect a 1-2 hr wait.
The wait is terrible on the weekends, but oh is it worth it. The huevos rancheros are delish. The southern hash , which was a special, are out of this world. Just try to get here as early as possible.
Huge portions ! Definitely try the fried chicken with waffle and the pancakes ! Also the french toast is amazing!
Get there early to avoid a long wait . The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and delicious with a bit of a crispy outside
Amazing pancakes , it's the pancake that's fab. Toppings are ok. Chocolate melts if you pour maple butter over top. Cash only . Get here early as first seating goes fast for fairly small place
Blueberry pancakes with maple butter , scrambled eggs
If you get the chance to come in minus the lines (lines are NEVER worth it if you're in NYC - there's always something better next door) you must have the fried chicken salad , lollipops or h.rancheros
The OG of anytime breakfast , this LES staple makes a convincing case for blueberry pancakes as the ideal pre-work meal. (Sorry, Cheerios.) Read more
The original is so great. If you're a chocolate lover like me get the chocolate cheesecake - so good!! The Oreo one a third fave. - G
Amazing bakery that continually innovates. Loved the canneles, DKAs, and of course the Infamous Cronut! It is worth the line. - Kartik Sathappan
