Wonderful service here, our room was bigger than expected.Complimentary Shuttle Service was clutch many times.Don't forget to ask for those delicious cookies !
Super friendly check in. Quiet and clean hotel . Nice bed. Big room . Very nice gym . Fantastic!

Parking is valet only ($27/day), use the lot next to the hotel instead ($15). The rooms are large 1 bdrm suites, but awkward layout--sort of have to go thru the bathroom to get to bedroom.
I have stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions, and I've realized the air conditioning SUCKS in every room of this hotel ! I cannot get the room temp cooler than 75.
Love this place! Staff are all very friendly , and Round Bar happy hour every weeknight from 5 to 7pm is great. Highly recommended.
Decent hotel with friendly staff and a relatively good upkeep. Gotta love the warm cookies .
Only the cold items are free as an Hhonors member. I'm a diamond and had to pay extra for the hot food. It wasn't expensive but more on principal. It's cheaper to stay outside of downtown Detroit.
Standard doubletree quality. Comfortable and large rooms/suites. Only problem is the a/c is not adequate for the large square footage in each room.
Newly renovated hotel . Nice for the $$. Free breakfast for HHonors . Eat the warm cookie when you check in
Great Hotel !! But a little far from Downtown... Not bad if your going to an event in the Cobo Center or Joe Louis Arena.
Breakfast buffet is pretty good and free if you're Hilton Honors Gold. Make sure you say hi to Scarlett!
Had to tell the valet how to do his job, considering it was raining and he was just standing around inside doing nothing, and not coming out to our car. Otherwise, nice accommodations.
Great views of the fireworks ! We will be back!
Must get the all you can eat buffet at MGM Grand Casino . $32 and Wednesday is crablegs and seafood . YUMMY!
Yeah...thermostat on cool = 94 degrees when you get back to your room. It must be opposite day.
Don't forget to get your cookie at check in!
The hotel was nce. And at 1:00 am when people were being annoyingly loud they took care of it promptly. Much appreciated.
Nicely renovated Doubletree. Good hotel if you are stuck in Detroit for whatever reason.
Walking distance to Detroit Jazz Festival !
Great hotel bar
Breakfast was good
Love the cookies !
$200.00 a night, Had to wait to check in, but housekeeping BANGED on the door at 8:30am... Ridiculous
Nice room!
Wear your shirt at all times in the lobby or else they will get mad at you :)
The cookies are a must.
The hotel is nice but very understaffed. It took over an hour to get clean towels because apparently there is only 1 person capable of doing that?
Staff is friendly , nice size suites.
hotwire 3.5 stars in downtown - amazingly swank for 48 bucks!
Never eat at a restaurant that says Sushi and only has three rolls to choose from because the Spicy Tuna Roll .taste like garbage. If this taste bad I can only imagine what the others taste like avoid
Eat the warm chocolate chip cookies when you check in.
Monday Martini Happy Hour 4 to 7pm
Lunch was great!
Bring extra towels.
It is another one of Detroit's renovation projects that was a success.
Just don't come here. Bookings not as promised, rude and unresponsive staff and rooms with stained carpet and dirty furniture . Why can't they just get it right???
Avoid the bar restaurant . Worst service in the history of Hilton!
Bowl of gumbo is huge! Chicken burger and shrimp quesadilla are good choices. Ignore the sushi. - Melody
Nice facility for a hotel gym. - Kennis Wooten
The service is amazing and the food is exquisite. Pizzas and salads are best bang for the buck! - Matt
Great location! Nice room, comfy.. good service at front desk. bar closes early during the week! - Shooter
We always stay here when we come in for a game. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's clean, safe and 3 minutes walking from either Comerica Park or Ford Field. And pretty inexpensive. - GoLacey Go
New Amsterdam bar, right field 2nd floor, is amazing. Couches, outdoor fireplace, good views and ambiance. - Kate H.
