Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown

Nice hotel if you are going to Greektown , Music Hall, Gem, Opera House, Tigers or Lions games. Also the Detroit Jazz Festival , which I attended.

We always stay here when we come in for a game. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's clean , safe and 3 minutes walking from either Comerica Park or Ford Field . And pretty inexpensive .

Have breakfast at the American Grill. Ask for Robert. He goes above and beyond for everyone.

Very great facilities and accommodating staff for meetings.

If you plan to go to either Ford Field or Comerica Park , this HGI is ideal. Short two block walk to either and parking is reasonable and safe. Just park or enjoy the night.

Everyone is ultra friendly in this hotel . The gym has some reasonably heavy dumbbell a and a bench so a workout is possible.

Don't pay/upgrade for the "Breakfast N Bed" deal. It is NOT room service breakfast in your bed. They give you a "breakfast coupon" to use at the Hotel Restaurant .

Walking distance to arenas and Greek town .
