Local retro hipster cafe . Local old school regular food/things made hip . From a mama shop hidden front entrance to a bar and air conditioned seats behind, this shophouse is an interesting experience.
This place has an interesting menu, with modern Singaporean food. Churro was good. The kaya was diluted & tart , which was interesting.
Gong bao chicken was crispy with a subtle flavour. The Johnny Walker was also subtle. The sauce was very liquidy & not viscous enough & the batter was too thick.
Soft shell crab bao had a very tart sauce that was not exactly chili crab sauce. The crab was greasy. Stuffed iberico pork tau pok was decent. The satay sauce was pretty good.
Contemporary Singaporean food
