Reasonably priced, though the dishes are on the small side. The churros are the best I've had in Manhattan and the skirt steak tacos were really tasty. Don't expect the elote to live up to Habana

Caroline Toff

Great cocktails ! The guac app was a bit small but the entree (steak ) made up for it. Overall nice atmosphere, it's mostly communal tables unless you have a big group. Try getting there before 7:30pm!

Ernesto Gutierrez

Loud lounge like scene with amazing tacos and tequila cocktails . The grilled fish taco steals the scene, quite the blend of flavors to intrigue you. The beef and shrimp tacos are also a must try.

Whit Walker

Short rib skewers were absolutely amazing. Very unique flavor. The skirt steak was also excellent. Such a great vibe here.

Tijuana Picnic checks all the boxes off the mid-20s birthday list: 1) It’s new-ish. 2) It’s on the Lower East Side. 3) There are good tacos and good margaritas . And... 4) There’s a downstairs bar

Rachel Sheppard

The guacamole , apps, and sides are delicious. Tacos are decent. Margaritas are great (not too sweet) but try to get em at happy hour (skip the $80 pitcher )!

Carli D

Tacos are great - and try the veggie one. Surprisingly good. And, of course, the margs are a must. Make a res if going for dinner .

Emilie Futterman

Food is delicious (tuna tacos and guacamole ), drinks are delicious, service can be spotty. Big room downstairs can accommodate a large group.

Madison Back

Great for groups . Can get a little pricey for not a huge amount of food if you're drinking too. Excellent soundtrack and overall vibe

Ben Mackey

No idea about the food but they have great cocktails here. Both the Smokin' Maid the Smoke on the Beach are fantastic mezcal cocktails .

Nazli Oguz

Guacamole nachos , trio salsa sauces, tacos everything is delicious, margaritas are amazing and great service

Amanda Schneider

Can't go wrong with any of the tacos - by far the best thing on the menu! Try the Smoke on the Beach cocktail

Tanay Modi

Incredible boozy brunch -- get the steak and eggs and as many bloody Mary's as you like! Dope staff

AmateurConcierge

This spot is kind of a party spot . The basement is where it goes down. Pretty good tequila cocktails

Margot Mazur

Really great Mexican food . Try the veggie tacos and the roasted corn with a mezcal Margarita

Giulia M

Fluke ceviche , short rib skewers , chicken tacos , ezquites , sassy señorita , smokin' maid , chocolate lava cake with mezcal

Great vibes, group spot, margarita pitchers and guac . Music downstairs is awesome.

Amy Cummings

Went here for my birthday party! Good for a late night dinner and dancing .

Daniel Powell

Above avg food with a cool atmosphere. Downstairs bar is fun and wasn’t too crowded .

John Colglazier

Saturday brunch included a DJ (selecting music from his Mac) with LOUD music . The menu was out of date; not all drinks were available. Brunch menu was limited.

DoubleDeuce

Good for the hip hop DJ and club environment in the basement on the weekends.

Keith Myers

No one who has ever lived on the west coast would use this name for an upscale , pretty good, Mexican restaurant ????

Kt Lacasse

Fun spot for a drink or girls night out. Chips and salsa are actually real good

Olivia Weiss

I would die for the goat cheese and mushroom tacos . They are life changing.

Keith McKenzie

Downstairs bar has a cool vibe, especially on Thursday nights.

Ashley Knight

Good music downstairs after 9pm. Fun for mexican margaritas .

Jackie Hon

Very good drinks. Full menu at the bar downstairs

Can't say I've ever eaten here, but the late-night vibes and drinks rule

Half chicken ???? , sassy senorita margarita ???? , duck empanadas

Ashley Rose

Good food, margaritas , and accommodating to large groups.

Adam S

Guacamole , chicken tacos and the pork chop platter

Syd Leigh

we were not impressed by the food here. The corn was really the only thing I would go back for. Skip the margarita . Our favorite was the Smokin' Maid

Order lots of smaller dishes, they're all great!
