When you're with at least four people, get the platter which they serve on a huge wooden board to share that includes Asada Oaxaquena, Carne Enchilada , Green Chorizo , Cecina, and Grilled Queso Blanco .
Delicious margs and only $8 for happy hour . Sat next to the staff reading through customer reviews to try and improve their service. Awesome ambiance. Would be a great place to take out of towners.
Start w/the playful cheese chicharonnes and a lighter (but satisfying) order of chorizo verde eggs . Oh, and since its brunch and the sun is shining, get you and your amigos a michelada (or two).
Great experience! Get the taco platter and a pitcher of beer or margaritas . Great for groups and food is solid. Carne asada was only thing that was exceptional
Great brunch . Good spot for groups. Start with the Bourbon Spiked Mocha , guacamole + chips and the queso with sausage . For the main course I highly recommend the Chilaquiles with Cecina Beef .
Claim a spot on the patio and sip a Mango margarita with Serrano-infused tequila , mango , lime , OJ and cilantro with a chipotle salt rim. Hey, that’s like, three servings of fruit . Read more

The fish tacos and original margaritas were awesome. Rosie was our waitress (which we found out the place is named after) and she was honestly the best server I've ever had. Love this place !
Not a hole in the wall ! Massive space for LES; great for groups . The stools at the bar are innovative; they slope slightly downwards and are sooooooo comfortable to sit in.
great ambience with open kitchen and outdoor seating . This sister resto to cookshop does not disappoint. Innovative mexican menu. And 3 kinds of micheladas !
A vibrant Mexican restaurant great for groups . Try the steak , pork and cod taco . Try their watermelon margarita . End your meal with delicious churros and flan .

The tacos were out of this world. I went with the chicken and the pork . Get two orders if you're hungry cause 2 tacos just isn't enough! The guacamole was fantastic as well !
Fish tacos were yummy and so was the diablo drink! Flan and peanut butter and chocolate chili ice cream for dessert was a perfect finish.
Guacamole was great. Al Pastor was yummy w/ pineapple . The Cod taco was a bit off and very fishy. I wonder if it was just a bad night. Normally love all seafood . Queso al fondo was decent.
Great brunch - especially when the huge windows are open (which they close sporadically for no apparent reason). Nice vibe, and steak & eggs that are ???????? great addition to 2nd Ave!
Spicy MARGS, creamy guacamole , and cool open format makes the whole restaurant feel outdoors. The cookshop family does it again!
Best dishes: Quesadilla , Fish Tacos , Carne Asada con Huevo (Brunch ), Chilaquiles (Brunch ), Huevos Rancheros (Brunch ) Avoid: Enchilada Suizas (Lunch ) MR: 8.9
Summer assignment: Order a few suadero tacos (braised brisket with tomatillo-chipotle salsa ) and eat them in the gorgeous open-air restaurant . Read more
Super fresh and simple! Love the Rosie's margarita ! For food, I loved the beef tartar , pork tacos , and ribs . If you're into spicy try the scallop ceviche .
Chilaquiles at brunch are way bigger then you'll ever need, but so good you'll finish em anyways (or least take them home). And the Chipotle Maria has a real kick that wakes you right up!
Really enjoyed the 2nd & 2nd cocktail for brunch . Try the cheese chicharones to start and the the al pastor tacos
Festive atmosphere and excellent drinks. Try the chia yogurt on the brunch menu if you're in the mood for something different and light. It's magic.
This is my friends' and i's go to place when we are craving Mexican food . The atmosphere is great, service is friendly and the tacos are amazing!
Great chilaquiles , hand made tortillas , roasted whole plaintain on a bed of crema and pomegranate seeds DELICIOUS. Wine , coffees yummy.
I loved everything about this place. Our server, Rosie, was lovely! The sampler and the mango margarita were the best.
The atmosphere is super fun and vibrant. They have a few dishes for vegetarians . Skip the fundido and get the mushroom taco and sope de hongos
Ordered the tlayuda and the cauliflower salad . Both were delicious. I would like to go back and try other things.
Great tacos , churros , steak , and margaritas on their outdoor patio . The restaurant smells like fresh tortillas - heaven.
I had the vegetarian enchiladas and they were amazing. The staff is super friendly and nice. I would definitely come back.
Decent Mexican food in a great spaces that's perfect for the impending summers. The Diablo drink is sweeter than it is spicy . Guac is nice n creamy

Create a spicy watermelon margarita by combining the habanero tequila with the watermelon mix. Thank me later.
The Picante Margarita was perfectly spicy . The Huevos Rancheros was just ok; sitting in a bowl of black bean liquid, the tortillas were soft...not cool.
Comes alive at 8pm so don't show up late or you miss the beautiful art of tortilla making and the bustle of an authentic restaurant . Definitely try the queso !
Snag a seat at the comal to be at the center of the action. Don't go without trying the fish tacos and tlacoyo . Awesome vibe.
best to order a bunch of food, as the portions are small. great outdoor seating during the summertime!
Lives up to all the hype! Tacos were great go with pals so you can share the tacos . Watermelon Margs were great.
Fish tacos were great. Skip the cactus salad , just so so. Beware watermelon margarita has a kick. This spot is always crowded but one of my fav Mexican locales.
The Margaritas are STRONG and delicious - unique flavors. Nice, big restaurant with dim lighting . Will be back!
If you like mezcal , skip the Rosie's margarita go straight for the cucumber lemon southside. Smokey, delicious
Delicious chips and guacamole ! Tacos and little whims are perfect for sharing.
Fun cool edition to the neighborhood . Guac and Al pastor tacos are amazing.
Affordable and delicious Mexican bites with a perfect price fixe and atmosphere for groups. The staff here is marvelous!
We did the smaller plates and got to try a little. Everything was amazing. Trust your server for portion sizes.
Spiced piña drink is great! Good amount of spice and great service. Fish tacos were also pretty good.
Guacamole is great. Love the Rosie's Margarita (has a spicy kick )
