Butlers Wharf Chop House

Staff sometimes overly attentive...their Wild Boar & Venison Faggot was so overpowering, I could barely finish one plus the pease pudding . But their Pear & Ginger Crumble was lovely.

Pickled fish was awesome. So was the fish fry and chips . Complementing this with red wine made this an over the top experience!

This could be an excellent restaurant . Sadly, it is not: for a "chop house", they get the temperature wrong on meat consistently. Go for the great view of Tower Bridge , stick to the fish entrees.

Waiters are always very friendly , food is always on point and they make one of the best Old Fashion’s in London !

Fillet’s tender and perfectly cooked. Nice ambience. Moderate service.

Can be one of the best places to eat or worst - seems to vary depending on which night / who is working. So leave if you pick up a negative vibe on the door.

Great view of tower bridge but awful food

Nice view of the bridge if you are lucky to find a table outside , service is very careful and food is not bad, both meat and fish . Not really polite with the change of the bill..

Really good for meats. Fab views though service can be random. Still good for business lunches .

Chicken liver pate starter is exquisite. Mendoza Bordeaux blend is a great choice for steaks .

Perfect the food amazing stuff friendly

Food wasn’t seasoned enough. We asked for the 15£ red wine special and 2 waitstaff looked at us oddly; manager gave us attitude for asking. Don’t really get it.

Whether its for breakfast , lunch and dinner this british restaurant always deliver 's simple but classic and scruptious food, excellent coffee and amazing views !

The set menu from the evening standard is absolutely crap. There's no meat main course and only three options to choose from.

Don't bother with the Evening Standard menu as it's a total waste of time. It might be two courses for ten quid but with only three options for mains (2 veg , 1 fish ) the choice is pretty sad! :o(
