A long time diner , the food is always delicious, the atmosphere a comfort, the service impeccable, and the wine flows.. Lovely.
Traditional Italian vibe but with excellent flair and flavor. Get any of the fresh pastas . Good martinis as well .
The pasta is good. Portions are about double a normal one (at least in Italy / Europe). So, unless you are starving or a big eater, one pasta is enough for two. Especially with starters
Local favorite since forever (I have been a regular since '2000), this northern Italian restaurant serves fantastic pasta dishes along with super-friendly service.
LOVE this place. Try the chicken ruggatino. You will not regret it. The bread and infused olive oil is also delicious. And a generous pour on the wines by the glass! A long time fav.
The house bread is excellent! It tells you that the food will be awesome as well ..Try sea food pasta ! Huge plates😋
Brought a large party and we were accommodated on short notice. Everyone enjoyed their dinner from the service to the generous portions of pasta . Instantly one of my favorite family dining places.
I order takeout from here all the time, and each time, the service has been great, and the food has been delicious! Rigatoni alla Ricotta is to die for.
their pasta bolognase is out of this world. I am going back there again next year for my birthday with my best friend.
Excellent service . All indoor seating required a reservation but we didn't have to wait long at the bar for outdoor seating .
Phenomenal service that is only topped by the quality of the food. The food is not only delicious but a visual pleasure as well . The staff could not be more attentive and courteous. Read more
Great local Italian spot . The food is excellent and the place is bustling on the weekends.
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had...and I've been to Italy!
Splitting the gnocchi pollo is great for two people - unfortunately it's not on the menu anymore = try other restaurants . PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!
another one of my fave spots from my days working on the UWS. awesome Italian food and great service.
Steak sandwich and chicken quinoa were excellent!
Small old school red sauce joint. Cozy and decent food.
Very very very very friendly staff !
Great service, heaping bowls of pasta , but they got a B rating which was kind of disturbing.. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Stroller & Puppy friendly . Belgian waffle is yummy for brunch !
Everyone here is extremely friendly and it seems like the owner is there at times helping out as well . I would recommend this great spot to anyone.
PAPPARDELLE AL CROSTACEO and the RAVIOLI ALLA ARAGOSTA.
This the best service I've had in Manhattan: both efficient and very friendly . I come here often for a reason!
Everything is good and it won't break the bank
their pasta bolognase is delicious
the Pasta Bolognese is out of this world :-)
Great restaurant ! Affordable and good pasta .
Their fresh pastas are great
good selection, but some of the ingredients just didn't seem as fresh as they could have been.
Huge bowls of pasta , very attentive service , quaint ambiance.
Snapper !! Great!!
The pappardelle is great
Awesome food especially the free bread they give
Great cozy lunch spot !!
You can't go wrong with Penne a la Grappa !
Peter is the ultimate host and the baked clams are the best around!
Not entirely satisfied with the experience. Their Veal Milanese was chewy & hard to cut. The Napoletana Pizza 🍕 ? I would not recommend at all.
The host is very accommodating. Great seats for 2 at the corner of the bar by the window.
Great neighborhood spot
Their pasta bolognase
