Quite fine ice, rich coconut and gula melaka for $2.50. Better than what I had at the original place in 2005. Maybe this isn't related
The "famous" Ban Chang Kuih sold here is the brittle style. Very paper thin, very little bite. I've eaten at Penang many, many times – even as a kid. I've never had this style before
The cendol here is decent. But rather than the typical red beans , they use the larger kidney beans . That, I'm not a fan
The cendol was decent though it needed more gula melaka . Ban Chang Kueh was not freshly made but still good: crispy .
Very generous with red beans
Their smallest bowl is $4. Just fishballs. For $5, u get those & a pork-blended fishball, some fishcake slices & a 'her giao' (fish dumpling) - Cheen The Curious
They have a selection of dishes from their restaurant. The water chestnut drink is great - Gabriel Seah
The char Kway teow is great - very tasty, with bean sprouts still crunchy, with Crispy lard. - Gabriel Seah
The black sesame soup was of the right consistency and not overly sweet. The almond soup was pretty good too. - L
Usually dont fancy cold noodles but the cold udon here is super yummy! And the matcha ice cream with red bean paste is so good! - Sharon Ng
Their ice cheese tarts and sliced cakes are always a delight to eat. I love that they are always coming up with new cake flavours. Two thumbs up! - Elizabeth Lee
