The char kway teow in Apr 2022 was the same size & price as in late 2018. It was still pretty good, but possibly with fewer prawns & with no lard now.
The char Kway teow is great - very tasty, with bean sprouts still crunchy, with Crispy lard.
$5 was their smallest plate, served with 2 mid-sized prawns , lots of taugeh (bean sprouts ). Nothing memorable other than my serving was orangey, rather than dark
They don't have cockles
Their smallest bowl is $4. Just fishballs. For $5, u get those & a pork-blended fishball, some fishcake slices & a 'her giao' (fish dumpling) - Cheen The Curious
They have a selection of dishes from their restaurant. The water chestnut drink is great - Gabriel Seah
2 items stood out in my bowl of minced meat noodles: dumplings (extremely tasty), & mushroom stew (extremely fragrant, very traditional). For his M size bowl, he gives ti poh (dried solefish). Yumz! - Cheen The Curious
Worth the long wait; delicious bak chor mee, soup is excellent. I feel it is even better than the famous ones at bedok 85. - Jonathan Lim
My fav mala beef noodle place! They have 8 different types of hand pulled noodles. Broth is clear and flavourful. Get the set meal for another $4 that includes braised egg, side dish & canned drink. - Riann Goettl Seymour
