Had my dog off leash. Huge no no. She's a sweetie & well trained . I take her to church with no problem. Park ranger was even sweeter. She waived the hefty fine. Follow rules. You may not be so lucky.
Take the hike from Fremont Older to Stevens Creek Park . Takes a bit, but just park one car at the dam , and start over at Fremont Older . Its a great hike !
Excellent Park . Look for Bat House, junction of Tony Lookout Trail , left of reservoir . You can hear owls in the later part of day and you may get the opportunity to see some deer & other critters.
There is no doubt that hikers are the best people on earth. I lost my keys on the trail , went back the next day to look for them and somebody had turned them in at the Ranger 's station. Awesome!
