Expect to queue during peak times. Reasonable price. Staff are friendly . They do a big portion Katsudon ! yum..Sushi and rolls are also nice. They have so many things on their menu for you to choose:-)
Excellent Japanese restaurant just in the center of Soho.Fresh, nicely served Japanese food at affordable prices . The service could have been better but you will love the whole experience.
Visited the Holborn branch before and loved thier range of Japanese Cruise selections inc the Bento Boxes . Very healthy and tasty food and nice to see the the Sushi Chefs preparing your food.
All fresh and tasty. And very affordable . You can spice things up and become more lux and pay more, but there is all options of combining your kind of menu for the evening. Easy, great and affordable
Bento boxes are an amazing deal. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Generally speaking, everything is really good and it's not as expensive as other Japanese restaurants in London.
Tasty Japanese food for an affordable price . Very fresh fish used for Sushi and Sashimi . To experience many flavours for a good price order one of Bento Boxes which are generous and well designed.
I had one of the chirashi sets and it was very good . Also the hokkaido roll which was very rich and should be shared with 3 people. One bad point is that the menu is huge and bit unorganised.
Really good food. Twice as cheap as every fancy Japanese palce and you get quality rolls and sashimi . The service tho is not that yet but despite that it's a real treat for Japanese food lovers.
I love the food but the way staff handles queues and reservations is just appalling. If waiter promises you that he will find you a table ask how many reservations they are waiting for at the moment.
Takoyaki , spicy squid feet, hyper roll , bento #b10, skip the sour drinks (boring), go for a bottle of plum wine , a bottle of perrier and ice, and mix at will. You're welcome.
I don’t know what they do to their food to make it stand out from other Japanese places but it’s absolutely delicious. Though be prepared to wait in line for like 30 min as it’s always very busy
love it! really delicious food, try also bentos ; you'll leave the place as full.. convenient place before opera/theater but be careful to the smell on your clothes :)
Very tasty sushi and nice beer . And we got a free present for Christmas from the staff : a wooden spoon for miso . The miso itself was gorgeous...
Great value bento boxes . Very authentic atmosphere. Tables are quite close together. The tempura is wonderful!
Great place. It takes you directly to Japan. I like the armosphere, and how authentic is the restaurant . I will come again for sure.
Katsu Don very good, Asahi on tap . Fresh and tasty sushi rolls . Cozy and busy. Get there early evening to beat the queue.
Great food, service and price. It very cozy an relaxing when it's less crowded , the music is really relaxing. I love having lunch here after work when it's quieter .
Everything in this restaurants tastes good. From sushi to meats. Best place if you’re a fan of Japanese/asian cuisine.
Food came out super quick, good service and delish food! It is super busy though and can't book tables on fri or sat- queue out the door but well worth it! A* !
Is the food at eat TOKYO the best Japanese food around? Probably not. But it’s pretty good for the low price point. Portions always generous.
My favorite Sushi place in London. Always fresh made . They now moved on Old Compton Street in a bigger location 👍
This is the Soho branch, Golders Green being the first and original. Chinese run sushi restaurant , menu same as other branches. Can’t shake off the poor Chinese style of service, like in China Town !
Very good and pretty authentic Japanese place. Queues out the door at peak times. Full of Japanese students and ex-pats.
The quality and freshness of food continue to impress. To my mind, probably the best sushi restaurant at this level in London..
Best sushi i ate... Salmon roll , california roll , prawn tempura , vegetable tempura and alaska roll.
Good sushi here. The place gets a bit crowded at the front but don't be put off because there's a massive seating space at the back.
I'd recommend booking . You can walk in but you will be welcomed with a queue. Very impressed.
Reasonable portions for the bento boxes both teriyaki chicken and salmon were flavourful and juicy.
Really nice prices and good (Not spectacular but good value ) quality and quantity. Sushi combos are recommendable 100%
Super fresh and real sushi ! The place is small and is always crowded but it is worth the wait. Do recommend.
This place keeps me coming back, over and over. Those looking for stellar Michelin star experiences, look somewhere else. This place makes high quality classic Japanese food . Like being in Tokyo.
Good sushi if you are sushi lover for a fair price , if you don’t like busy environment try the Golders green brunch
My most favorite Japanese restaurant in London! Big portion and value for money ! Great service too.
One of my favs in London. The best sushi you can find in the city . Highly recommended.
Good food and some massive portions . Nice, cheap , and easy, and sometimes rude but nbd.
Amazing japanese restaurant in the middle of Soho. Always is full of japanese people...good sign.
Huge portions of curry ... good sushi and amazing prices if it is Japanese it has to be eat Tokyo
Best shrimp tempura I have tried, it melted in the mouth. Good places for Japanese food in soho.
Great authentic sushi . The menu can be a bit overwhelming though. Take time to look for what you want.
Great value - big portion and nice food! Yum!
Good quality Japanese food at an affordable price . Read my review on my blog (ivyeatsagain). Read more
Fresh and delicious. different choices in menu. Nice place but lowerfloor is not good for a dinner .
Good sushi , great bento boxes . Get there between lunch and dinner to avoid long queues!
Excellent sushi , great service and good for groups but you need to book ahead.
authentic japanese in the heart of soho- the lunch sets are great value for money
Legendary sushi with fair prices and set menus.
Sushi is not fresh at all. The ice inside the boat melted and leaked and water dripped out! Service is ok and restaurant is far too busy. Food 4/10, service 5/10, ambience 5/10, value for money 5/10.
Takoyaki (octopus balls), tempura , sushi all fantastic and very authentic
excelent food and well served! you need to get early to avoid queue.
Nice and cheap with great portion of food!
the tempura crab fishcakes were excellent. leave room for desserts: they have delicious mochi. - Debs Debs
Brown sugar sea salt with fresh milk 😋 - نجدية
Good place for people watching and a lot of landmarks to watch and enjoy . Very lively place day and night - Hamoud AlDabbous
My favorite area, beautiful location. Close to Leicester square, and several great food stops. - Chelsea Bradley
M&M's of course. The whole experience is great with several floors of goodies. There was even a candy m&m walking around for photos. No entry makes it a great way to spend some time. - Robert Paluszak
