Tried some Dumplings and the Kung Pao Chicken . Spicy when got to the pepper , not so much on the dish. Although was very good as well as the sauce. Will be returning to try their very vast menu.
Get the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao ). Fresh and best in Dallas! Not as good as Joes Shanghai in NYC but it comes close! Also try the Jalapeño chicken ! If you're brave, eat the actual jalapeños :)
A Dallas mainstay for over 20 years, Royal China continues to wow loyal diners with xiao long bao (soup dumplings ) and hand-pulled noodles . [Eater 38 Member]

We went in a group of seven people. At the end we spend an avg. of $20 per person and had massive leftover. The food is good. There menu is big and at the end you get fresh cut orange slices served.
Best in Dallas. Start with the hot and sour soup , steamed dumplings . You can't go wrong with the generals chicken , Kung pao chicken or moo shoo chicken . Dried beef is great too!
What kind, amazing, wonderful people work here. It reminds me of bring back in Singapore. George, rest of his staff (family) will be the reason I come back (all the time if I have the money :-) )
Perfect hand-pulled noodles and handmade dumplings . Do not miss the soup dumplings . Great selection of hot teas to share. And my fav dish is the Dry Shirred Beef !
The dumpling sample is something to try with you date. Try different samples of chicken , shrimp , pork and veggies .
Excellent food! Beautiful decor. Hand made dumplings and noodles ! Out of control!
The best hand pulled noodles in town ! Dumplings are good too. Sit at the low bar and watch them make the noodles - dinner & a show, great fun.
"Since 1974, this North Dallas staple has been cranking out hand-pulled noodles and five-spice crispy duck . As far as Americanized Chinese classics go, you can’t beat General Tso’s chicken ."

Ive been going to Royal China for over 30 years... My suggestions...Henan Lamian is incredible!!! Also, they have the best edamame and steamed dumplings :)
I sat the low bar and was really awesome to see the cook make the Henan Dan-Dan Lamian . You can try other hand noodles but know that this meals are cold.
It is hard to find a restaurant that serves soup dumplings . These were amazing. They even make their own Udon Noodles . This place was great.
Amazing service! Even on a slammed night with tons of reservations , they still worked out large party with kids in and never quit smiling!
You must get the hand pulled noodles . And the soup dumplings (xiao long bao ) are best I've had in Dallas.
Start with the dumpling sampler and then go with the jalapeño chicken or pork . Make sure to get a side spring roll . Perfection.
Great food, chic decor, delicious drinks. Absolutely the best Chinese food I've found! A family favorite :)
The BEST is the chicken curry soup.....the most wonderful thing I've ever eaten. It would be my final request on death row....it's THAT GOOD!!!!!
Get the chicken dumplings , pork howl, and veggie spring rolls 😋 (skip the green tea ice cream )
Get the pork soup dumplings ! 🥟 They explode with flavor in your mouth. 🤤
Get the dumpling sampler . You will never be disappointed. Also a great place for lunch with a friend, grab the dumplings and an entree and share!
Amazing! I own my own Chinese restaurants and live in china 3 months a year. And this is top 5 in the world!
Great food. Great choices even for vegetarians ! Henan stir fried noodles with vegetsbles was very flavorful.

Rolling Napa Cabbage dumplings are a unique spin on the classic dumplings ! Plus, all dumplings are made in an open area in the main dining room.
Sit where you can see the hand pulled noodles being made in house.
Apparently they've never heard of GPS. Tried ordering for delivery and they couldn't do it because they couldn't figure out where I lived all 3 miles of it 😡
This is the best Chinese food I've had in Dallas, being from New York.

Just ordered the Leecheetini, exceptional taste.
Delicious...the dumplings are awesome.
Food was great, service was not great & after they took forever to serve us they had the nerve to leave a note on my car that said for patrons only... which I was.
The Dallas Observer's, Hanna Raskin says Royal China's jalapeno edamame pork almost outshines its scallion pancake .
Hands down best in Dallas. Homemade juicy dumplings!! Authentic as it gets. Fried green pancakes & vegetarian spinach soup are a favs. It's in a food court of the best in Dallas! - Coby Chivian
GRAND OPENING! This place is delicious! Reeeally loved their sliced noodles. Authentic Sichuan food and an American Favorites menu, too. - Whitney Bradford
A little smaller than the one on Coit and George Bush, and not as many fruits or vegetables or as big of a bakery section. It does have a lot of oils, sauces, chocolates, and good deli meats. - Evan Samuels
