Such an amazing little gallery space. Try to catch a few of the art openings, many a great artist was given their first show here. The annual Coaster Show in Sept is not to be missed-affordable art .
Billy Shire opened this gallery in 1986. Its first location was above the Soap Plant/Wacko on Melrose. He has described their philosophy by saying, "Art should be by the people and for the people.”

Located within Soap Plant/Wacko. I love lowbrow art , but some of the work here looked like student work. Depending on which artist is showing the day you visit can really change the experience.
