The best pub in Angel , as voted for by Londonist readers. Agree?

I've tried most of the stuff on the menu and I'm really not sold, but I still love this place for the location, decor, guest craft beers and friendly staff . Just eat somewhere else before you go.

Great selection of burgers with a good deal on Wednesdays - £9 for burger , fries , onion rings and a pint of beer (usual price of burger alone - £10-13.50)

Great pub , but unfortunately changed their menu. No longer do burger Wednesdays - beer and a burger for £9. Or buy one get one free on Thursdays ????

Lovely ornate little pub . Very dark but good bloody marys & nice food. Gets busy on weekends so consider booking a table!

Nice little pub just off the Main Street. Good choice of beer although a little bit more attention could be given to the food.

Great quiz at 8 on a Tuesday night. Worth getting there early in order to get a decent table! Food offer of 2 meals and a drink for £20 also great!

Most adorable pub in the world. Grab a pint and go walk the canal and see art and houseboats.

Beautiful high-ceiling pub with great atmosphere. A tonne of board games too.

The food we got was good... even though they'd run out of everything we actually wanted. Very good selection of beers .

Excellent food, kept interesting by the changing daily specials . Home battered fish and chips are worth a special journey. Spolit for choice with draught beers and wines .

Great little pub hidden away in angel. Great beers (brooklyn, sierra nervada, magnets draught ) could see it being a summer haunt!

Nice decoration, but it gets INCREDIBLY BUSY up to the point that you can't hear yourself think (and forget about going to the bathroom ...)

Fish & chips are solid, but it's the bartenders that rock.

Nice cosy pub however would not recommend for a roast. They had ran out of veg option and all sides and it was a very bland, roast!

Lovely pub with killer selection of beer/ale & good, reasonable food. Have come here regularly for 5 years. Unfortunately, staff changed lately for the worse - slow service & lots of attitude. Shame.

Brilliant pub , nice and cozy in the winter months. They sell 'Sierra Nevada' on tap too! Gets VERY busy though.

Food is pretty decent in the Island Queen - if you can ever manage to get a seat! It gets quite busy so get there early... or late!
