Everything is organic right down to the candle wax. Don't let that put you off; it's a great gastro pub with tasty food. Although it's noisy in the front, you can actually hear yourself in the back.

"Organic" gastropub which tries to keep everything local, seasonal and independent. Very Islington, yet down-to-earth. Some good beers you won't find elsewhere, and Dunkertons' awesome Cider on tap .

Quaint pub away from the hustle & bustle of old street. Lovely inside. Enjoyed the vegetarian aubergine cous cous dish. Better for a quiet drink rather than a raucous night out

My favorite gastropub in London. Can't really recommend a dish as they change the menu everyday. Organic fresh food that you can taste the quality.

Fantastic organic roast! But the team struggle to manage the crowd & covers, so go early (otherwise you can be waiting up to an hour for a booked table).

Pearls of the off-roads! Essex road is full of places to eat. This pub is just slightly off the main road . Yet food is delightful. Happy to have found it.

Nice pub , nice food, nice beer . Tad expensive though. And don't believe the poncey crap about organic beer not giving you a hangover. I can assure you it most definitely does.
