I always go mid-week and it's a pretty pleasant experience. The seats are comfy and the screen and sound quality is excellent. A little overpriced but then so is everywhere in London.
Local cinema for North Londoners, in the N1 Islington Shopping Centre, a few minutes walk from Angel Station. Plenty of cubicles for the Ladies in the large foyer.
Lots of late night movies , love the Vue extreme room. Shopping area downstairs, Sainsbury nearby (better get popcorn and drinks from here)
Really comfortable cinema seating. Pay the extra bit for the more spacious seats and you'll feel like you're watching a movie at home!
Nice cinema . Big, good movies , the people are nice, and there is a guy during the film to sell you some snaks!! LOL!
Decent cinema within the shopping centre. Easy to find food and beverages outside before you go in and often not very busy. They do live opera screenings here!
Go for the Vue Xtreme screenings if you can: much larger theatres than the standard small halls. No wifi , usually bad reception inside which can be a boon and a curse.
This cinema is good, but always smells a bit, especially around the lobby. There's lots of screens including 3D and Xtreme and also Ben & Jerrys.
Not bad for a semi-central multiplex chain, and tickets on Mon/Tues are 7 pounds. Sainsburys and mini Waitrose across the street for snacks .
Reserved seats are the norm (unlike the states ) so no need to arrive early
Snacks are extortionate, even by cinema standards.
Screen 10 seems tiny from the seating plan, but it's actually a reasonable size for a small screen and the seats are excellent.
Comfortable seating . Everything is overpriced as you might expect in a London chain cinema . Something feels weird in the screen 10, thought.
depends on the movie yanno
Buy your snacks from sainsbury 's
Get your tickets upstairs - no difference to the till downstairs but much much quicker- you can choose seats, do orange Wednesday's, everything!
Good cinema , comfortable seats
This is a pretty grotty cinema . Everything works fine, but it feels run down.
Get the HUGE slushy , with fanta fruit twist on side and raspberry on the other!!
Hate that you have to buy “VIP seats ” in even a small theatre if you don’t want the front or back rows.
Get your movie by interrupted by annoying kids while the staff sit back and nothing and allow kids to sit in VIP seats while you pay a fortune for them!
The service is terrible and they are very slow. They never have enough staff working and the staff are always very slow. Cinema itself is ok.
When buying popcorn , get the £2 Kids meal ... Decent popcorn amount, a drink AND Haribo! Which would otherwise set you back £10... Theres no sharing though which is kinda a bummer
Go for nachos at nearby Chillangos.
Fill up on snacks from the Waitrose outside ;)
Get your drinks and snacks from sainsburys before you go in.
Big cinema in the heart of Angel
VIP seats are excellent
Avoid the expensive snack counter and get a hot dog for a third of the price from the vendor outside. Or, better yet, go to a better cinema and eat real food.
This is the worst cinema by far! The manager doesn't know how to manage. The screens are not supervised. The lights remain on during the film . It's best to watch a film in your living room.
THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN
Soulless and I'd rather be at Screen on the Green but good quality screens
The scummiest cinema ever! Staff don't care and the cinemas have popcorn all over the floor.
Worth the £2 for VIP seat
With 9£ student's price, I ll come back in about... NEVER!
Never go for screen 10... it's on the ground floor and so small it reminds of your own room. Horrible experience 🙈
Staff in desperate need of any sort of customer service training - please 😞. Asked for coffee and the guy serving looked like he wanted to kill me.
Screens 1 and 9
Bones and All
Don't get a drink or snacks here as super expensive . Just go across the road to Sainsbury.
I've realised after coming for year that this cinema is actually awful! The service is awful, they don't take American Express and the toilets are disgusting...definitely go elsewhere if you can.
They will rip you a second asshole at the snack counter . Picturehouse cinemas are much better.
Not one of the most pleasant cinemas ever
Dropped in spur of the moment to watch something random. £15 a ticket?!?!?!! Sorry vue, way way too much. You just lost a customer.
Bloody expensive . The price of popcorn etc is just ridiculous:(
Smelly movie theater
Avoid the expensive car park and park in Zone B for free after 1330 on Saturdays
1 of 4 hand dryers work in the gents. Sums it up!
Avoid on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at all costs! The place is a hellhole.
Student rates for esporta members.
I went to propaganda on my 18th in August and I keep going back, Love it there. Fun atmosphere (you'll dance with a lot of strangers) friendly staff and great prices! - Tahnee Osler
Great cinema with decent ticket prices, but Odeon Limitless is the way to go! Only pay £1 for Premier Seats with Limitless! Most of the time the cinema is not too crowded or noisy. Great service too! - Shenzi
One of kind, cozy cinema. Good for dates and groups. - Rosephine Fernandes
Small shopping centre, mostly food. Also a cinema. Overall a nice place to go to. - Maxim Fedotov
These guys are stocking kubuto noodles which are fantastic - Jill Fitzpatrick
