Slavehaven Underground Railroad Museum

Not your average fancy museum but it is very rich in history. Contrary to the website, it is open year-round. Best time to visit is February through March when they offer new exhibits & artifacts .

Truly informative, eye opening tour . I've lived here 6 yrs and never knew about it! I will be taking every visitor from now on. Short enough to fit plenty more activities into your day and only $10!

The museum may look underwhelming from the outside, but the tour was incredibly interactive and informative. Don't let the bigger museums in Memphis overshadow this gem.
