Owner is not the nicest, but food is amazing and the waitstaff is unreal. If they have the burrata special, get it. Gnocco app is also the tits. Can’t go wrong with any of the entrees or the pizza
Incredibly cozy Italian fare , one should definitely make a reservation in the back garden that is open year round. Try the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms , its decadent.
I think this may just be the best pizza in the East Village / Alphabet City . The one with truffle oil is insanely good!
Skip corn salad with acidic lemon dressing $13. Order steamed branzino fillet over potatoes topped with 3 shrimp , artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes . Nice courtyard seating & service.
One of my very favorite restaurants , full stop. Been here several times and the entire experience has been wonderful every time—food, service, general atmosphere, warm and good feelings all around.
Very, very solid Italian food . Went for a family dinner on the early side and were well taken care of, even if it started to get a bit rowdy later on. Would gladly go back with friends.
Whether brunch or dinner , get a seat on the back patio . Have a fairly priced bottle of wine (or 2) & enjoy some good food (gnocchi & burrata are favorites). Oh, and it's no longer just cash or Amex!
The new (and dare I say, even better) home of the former Cafe Pick Me. You'll want to spend hours on the back patio
Yummy thin crust pizza and quality lamb burger . They also serve brunch - so get back here for some AM pancakes .
You can't beat the decor here, they put in the extra effort to make your experience just right here. Good stuff! Go when the back patio is open!
In addition to some fantastic pastas (Maccheroni al Torchio and Gnocchi al Pomodoro among others) and exceptional pizza , Gnocco serves delectable appetizers . I went with the eponymous Gnocco-$12.45.. Read more
I loved the Maccheroni al Torchio Integrali con Prosciutto di Parma e Rucola . Light cream, fresh arugula , and tasty prosciutto .
It's simple. Go with friends, sit outside, share a salad , pizza , and gnocchi . This place is delicious and beautiful. It feels like a getaway!
All around amazing food! If going with someone else, go for an app and then split a pizza and pasta !
if burrata is on the specials, get it. can't go wrong with gnocchi and some of the best casual , yet professional service of any restaurant in NYC
Beautiful quiet respite. Stop here for brunch on the heated atrium/garden.
Delish thin slice pizza but crust can be soggy due to super fresh/watery buffalo mozz on top
Surprisingly diverse Italian wine collection . Choose wisely, it will greatly enhance (or dimish) your dinner . Great pizzas and pastas .
Fantastic! Some of the best Italian that you will find in new york. Their garden area is nice- order anything with Mozzarella . So fresh!
Great place for a romantic dinner . Tartufata and Al Salame Piccante Pizzas are both heavenly!
Don't sit at the bar on a busy Saturday night. Hands flying from behind you in ask directions. Otherwise, the bartender was a sweet guy. Did his job well too!
Barata, signature bread appetizer , fish , pasta , the friendly attentive service
This is a perfect date spot . If you don't believe me, peek in on Valentine's Day.
Thinnest pizza I've ever had. They use a rolling pin! Stopped here on Scott's Pizza Tour ???? ???? ????
The truffle pizza and filet mignon (special) are amazing. As are the rice balls .
The tartufata pizza with fresh mozz , truffle sauce , mushrooms and treck is the go to pizza to try
The starters were good and the garden area is nice
Vanilla cinnamon gelato is bomb... Garden area is beautiful - great place to host a party!
Great environment, wine , and burrata . Average pizzas and pasta . But such a cute place that food being average is excusable
Pizza here was really good and service very nice and quick even in a busy Friday night.
Tartufata pizza is 100marks for me, It's really good! Don't order pasta & others.
Gnocco is also one of their signature dish, go for it!
Fantastic pizza . Crispy this crust!
I love the fresh juices and salads .
New chef--best cake I have ever eaten. Sit with Frederico by fire put for just a pizza--heaven.
Great at 1pm when all other east village spots have long lines
Best egg breakfast in the neighborhood
Alright food, but the Nutella dessert is HEAVEN. 1 is enough for 4 people
Had the truffle pizza , it tasted good but it was very thin and way too small for being $20+Spent $120 total and left hungry.
Pepperoni Pizza was soooooo GOOD!
Save room for the giant nutella calzone and embrace the sugar high!
Come & enjoy our garden .
Great atmosphere and service! but the food...Don't get the rigatoni .
Hello, Nutella - in either a pizza or a calzone ! Amaze.
Great outdoor seating area in the back.
Jess Seinfeld recommended this joint as their go-to italian restaurant
Nice garden and brunch special . Very friendly staff
Affogato is yummy, as is prosciutto and arugola pizza
Fantastic pasta !
This is a standout among the many cheap East Village Italian joints. Cash-Amex only. Worth your time.
