One of the most nice place in NYC to have a great tea ! The food is great, too!And you’re projected in the fantastic world of Alice in Wonderland !!
Been to all 3 chapters (locations) & you won't regret being in either place! High Noon, Hawaiian Paradise, & Chocolate Chai teas are highly recommended. Lovely ambience while feeling classy !
Carnival Matte is a must have. It'll convert you. Desserts large enough to be shared by 4. Amazing marshmallow Graham cracker creation. Great service. Small place, shuts at 7p. Good for casual dates.
For $20 kids can have their very own afternoon tea , which includes a pot of herbal or fruit tea (or any other beverage), one scone , one item from the Menu for the Small and the dark chocolate mousse . Read more
Get one or two scones of the day (always multiple flavors on the blackboard), and finish all the clotted cream and raspberry preserves. Great for taking little ones ages 3-8. Super kid friendly .
The hot cocoa is absolutely magical! The nutella-banana cake was good but the frosting too sweet- kinda ruined the actual cake . A little on the pricey side. Cute . There is a wait time, so go prepared.
Great tea . As a German I appreciate the concept to pay the staff appropriate salaries and waive gratuities. Recommend a large pot of tea with two scones for $20.
Very good scones : pumpkin and caramel , blueberry lemon , triple chocolate . Extensive list of teas and you can take a cup to go if you don't finish your pot of tea . Disappointed by hot chocolate .
The best scones by far you will ever eat in your life. Each time they are experimenting with something new. Last time I was there they had warm banana scones dipped in dark chocolate ....mmmmmm
Decadent desserts served with extreme cheeriness. I recommend the ice cream sandwich ; order the two cookies separate from the ice cream , or it's just a mess to eat!
My favorite place to go with the family ???? I love the teas and the smoked salmon sandwich :) highly recommend the jabberwocky ????
House made oatmeal and vegan banana blackberry scone were delicious. Kids were enchanted by the gracious staff . Must do if travelling w young kids.
So cute , girly, charming & fun. This place is full of character. Fun to go with your girlfriends. More teas on the menu than I ever knew existed. They also have light bites.
I have been coming to Alice's Tea Cup for years, and have been to and enjoyed all three Chapters. However, last Friday, July 3, 2015, KC went above and beyond for me. He is my new favorite server!
I absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff . The tea selection is outstanding and the scones are yummy! I visit every chance I get, and now they have 3 locations.
The idea is great, but the execution on ambience is a little iffy. Scones are the best, and they serve them with jam/cream, even to go.
Cute quaint little place for morning, afternoon, or all day tea . Must get their buttermilk scones , and the mixed berry scones . Delicious, scrumptiously made and so moist.
Mad hatter tea platter , grilled veggies sandwich & off course their variety of teas ! Do try the rose indian tea
Been coming here for 3-years, discovered it through a friend. Best location is Upper West. The Curious French Toast , Indian Chai and pixie dust everywhere make me happy! :)
"Wee tea " or "small tea ," for kids: a scone w/jam + lemon clotted cream , sandwich of their choice, a small pot of tea (which they can even do iced), a small chocolate mousse w whip cream + sprinkles .
An adorably whimsical place to grab a cup of tea with friendly staff . Make reservations beforehand to ensure that you get a table! Read more
It's cute interior decoration with a shop full a fantasies. Good for an after-shopping break. The actually ice cream drink and cakes and a bit too sweet and come in very bit portion!
Had brunch here and the scones were delish! The rose petal sencha tea is a must-try with milk and honey . Had the latchong sapong (sp?) chicken breast--hold the GPS cheese--and it was mediocre.
Delightful spot for some relaxing conversation and tasty tea . Chocolate chai was great. Tea is pretty cheap , dessert is a bit more pricey .
Such a friendly staff and great tea selection . I would however steer clear of the baked goods (or at least just the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie )
A fanciful , Western-style tea party in the middle of the UWS. You can even elect to wear a pair of fairy wings as you sip your tea .
Most playful brunch ever. Excellent scones , extensive tea list, and optional fairy dust. What more could you want?
I had a soup and a fancy tea . The tables had cute designs on them if I remember correctly and the cake my friend had looked delicious but seemed like food a diabetic probably shouldn't consume.
Antioxidants oh my! After your workout at W. 83rd Street Crunch - sit down to your own pot of one of HUNDREDS of amazing healthy teas offered at this gem of a tea-house. Top pick: the Rooibos Bourbon
Cute and relatively inexpensive as far as New York tea rooms go! They have an excellent selection of herbal teas ~
Spiced pumpkin scones are the best I've had - crunchy casing, soft inside, subtle spices and sweet and sticky icing on top!
This is a little bit of a cute hole-in-the-wall. No gluten free options for pastries but fantastic everything else!
This is such a lovely little tea and breakfast place that's Alice in wonderland themed 9/10
Go ahead. Relive your childhood memories and be Alice all over again. Invite your friends for a tea party and get the Jabberwocky for unlimited sandwiches with your pot o' tea .
Yeah there's little girls walking out w/ glitter in their hair & the wait is super long but their tea and cutesy whimsical atmosphere is sort of worth it. Food was alright too..
Their clotted cream is nowhere near authentic , but the scones are still outstanding.
Cute brunch spot for the girls. No reservations available so make sure to arrive early. All guests must be present to be seated.
Call ahead- as there's usually a wait. The tea list read like a novel - get ready. All about the pumpkin scones ! Also, see what they've made fresh that day. Enjoy!
Wonderful spot for afternoon tea , space has a lot of character. Especially great with family.

Scone happy hour (5pm-close) Mon through Thurs. Buy one get one.
All the foods, all the beverages, the staff , the service, the prices; all are GREAT!!
Great tea and scones !! Such a cute place for lunch or an afternoon tea
Their scones have spoiled me! Since my first time, I only eat homemade scones , or ones from Alice's Tea Cup.
I really love their B.L.T. with blue cheese & I am crazy about the selection of tea , they have. ????
Their vegan chocolate chip & walnut scone ... YUM! ????????
Vast amounts of teas with astute descriptions of their flavors and their benefits.
The Mad Hatter is crazy filling for two. We couldn't even finish. Alices Tea Is a great tea choice, and curried chix salad is great.
They have afternoon tea service. $25 per person. It's valuable and good serve.
Bring your appetite, the portions on the afternoon tea menu are quite large. Also, consider trying their unique and delicious house blend (Alice's Tea ).
Check out their daily selection of scones. Yum! Also great for kids - fairy dust and wings await them. - Valary Oleinik
Peaceful environment. Lots of tea choices. Don't forget to get the scones!! - shal923h
The first time I saw Central Park, I wasn't impressed at all. The second time, it was covered in snow and I loved it. The ice skating rink, all the squirrels, the hills and the amazing views. - Hartje Utrecht
If you come To new York you should visit this place is very huge But very interesting and FUN my favorite part was the dinosaurs part - Melay M
It's a wonderful place to honor John. There's always someone willing to share a song or a story. - Paulette Osborne
