Beautiful even in winter. Even more beautiful idea by Yoko Ono with all those plants dedicated from around the world. An incredible tribute.
Central Park is just beautiful. This is a nice spot to check out. Better in the daytime though. It pays homepage to John Lennon. Where he used to live and where he died is just around the corner.

It's truly peaceful here, there are always tribute singers that always set the right mood. It's probably one of my favourite places in New York
My hubs and i had our hoops, and some kids came up, took a photo, watched him flow, and then gave him two bucks. We gave it to the dude with the guitar. xoxoxo!

A place to imagine of the better world we hope, but not a peaceful place always full with tourists and John Lennon fans .
Very busy spot in Central Park just by the Dakota building . Go see the pins guy & buy a cute button, he has some interesting stories to tell

While the concept (a park zone with shape of a tear) is remarkable, the focus is on an ordinary mosaic . Just worthing a visit when someone good plays music there.
people come to that point to honor one of the greatest musicians ever
“I come here to reflect and relax. It's easy to find a little privacy and work on music or just write down ideas.... in between naps.” —LaChanze, American Songbook
Been going to this peaceful area since my 12th Bday and still have picnics here with my friends during the summer to enjoy John Lennon's "Imagine" mosaic , musicians playing Beatles songs & hippies! <3
A must to pay tribute to John! And most of the time good interpreters!
If you dont have time to see much in the park then definitely make this a priority
It's a wonderful place to honor John. There's always someone willing to share a song or a story.
Nice contemplative space to sit and listen to a busker or just to reflect.
Always a Beatles busker there. Request your favorite!
Most perfect picnic spot on the planet (thanks for sharing, Michael!) Pick up Shake Shack, bring a blanket, some shades and your main squeeze and you're good to go.
No strawberries that's forsure but if your a fan of the beetles and John Legend then it's definitely a place to visit.
Must see but very touristy . Can make it a convenient stop if planned well .
It's a beautiful memorial, but can be crowded .
Take a relaxing walk. Don't miss the Imagine mosaic .
Yoko Ono made this lovely Imagine memorial in Central Park for John Lennon (he was killed across the street).
John Lennon! and yes here you have the Imagine monument , the Dakota building and the Rifstone arches, all within 50 meters.
A nice peaceful place . Be sure to tip any Beatles musicians !
If you walk a bit past the Imagine plaque , there's a Yoko Ono audio bit via phone.
Good if your a Beatles fan . Gets crowded fast, so go early if you want a good picture.
Im a big Beatles fan im 10 and i have to say that is a really heavy feeling to go there.
Would be serene if the local buskers respected the "quiet place of reflection" signs...
A must visit for Beatles fans and especially John Lennon fans !
A wonderful tribute and messege!????????
Best entrance of the park ! Walk towards the rocks and hang there for a while!
The attached photo was from the extremely rare time when this place isn’t mobbed with tourists .

Nice place, but you cannot park your bike . They rent bikes and doesn't have good infrastructure. Mega fail.
You can feel the vibe yeah you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one
This place brings sadness of loss that happened in 1980. Loss for the entire world.
Lovely. But damn. Those singers really need to up their game if they're going to sing The Beatles.
