Ask for a table on the patio - you feel as if you are eating in the middle of a vineyard . Food is superb - we had tuna poke , halibut , asparagus with farm egg , and chicken . Highly recommend each dish!
A bit pricy but I had the luck to be there during the restaurant week and they had a special offer on a three dish menu. The chocolate cake for dessert was fantastic!
Try Latin touches like a halibut ceviche with aji amarillo and creamy sweet potato , dry-aged beef filet accompanied by decadent Point Reyes blue cheese-mashed potatoes , or rich chocolate truffle cake
The appetizers are all amazing! I would recommend just getting several rounds of appetizers for the table, especially the: beets , tuna tartar , calamari , Cesar salad and the oysters .
Happy hour includes a complimentary plate of fried Mac and cheese ball, cod fish cake , stuffed pepper and grilled zucchini ! The prime rib main entree is probably the best I ever had
Had a delicious three-course dinner here a few nights ago. Highly recommended.
Insider Tip: Every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm, their Crush the Rush Happy Hour features drink specials and four complimentary small bite plates. Read more
Great overall experience! Come with your wallet thick and a couple free hours. I loved the brick chicken and cheese appetizer !
Plan a great dinner at John Ash and catch the documentary on Russian River Valley Grapes & Wines by Joe Nuget at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts . See www.Russian-River-Valley.com. Dec 1, 7:00 & 9:00
I Highly recomend the Stryker Sonoma Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon. You can sometimes find the Winemaker enjoying a glass in the bar !
Bring your wallet. Very expensive , but excellent food, wine and cocktails .
Bring your wallet and three credit cards, but this is an experience you won't regret.
Unfortunately not much is good. My veal was about 10 years old. There was nothing tender about it. The celery soup was mediocre at best. I can think of much better ways to spend $200.
Great food beautiful ambience
Try the Amuse Bouche - Gazpacho with avocado oil.
Seriously good bar menu
John Ash & Company grows a private spice and vegetable garden that they use for their dishes.
Walter White works here as a waiter . Believe it!
Great happy hour appetizers and cocktails .
The lamb pasta is nothing to write home about but the steak was excellent and the service exceptional
Check out Old World Winery down the street for some killer wines and a great tour .
The avocado fries are amazing
River Vine Cafe
Happy hour apps are $3
Come by on weeknights for happy hours !
Very tasty dinner fare with a frequently rotating menu. There were some Greek influenced dishes, pizzas, and solid California New American food. - Cameron Walters
Great wine, and the flatbread appetizer is excellent. - David Lounsbury
Amazing staff, super friendly and wonderful venue! - Katrina Poulos
Awesome beer (and pizza), but go on off hours, it can get VERY busy. Worth the wait, but it's sometimes a long one. - Brice Shultz
