Taste is still as yummy as before!
Selling at $5/portion, $5.50 for takeaways . This is the original taste of the Singaporean wanton mee ! So excited at finding this joint, but char siew not up to standard 😛
$5 per plate. Same light savoury-sweet gravy . Likewise, chilli sauce was light yet punchy. Noodles are almost cooked, but not the springy style. Overly sweet & butchered char siew (BBQ pork ) slices
Menu & pricing. Instead of yellow egg noodles , u can also choose “hor fun ” (flat rice noodles )
Wanton is the main dish.
Kok Kee is now managed by Jumbo, an F&B giant operating several popular Chinese restaurants
Don’t understand the fuss. Salty and not nice.
Old neighbourhood wanton Mee place that also sells handmade dim sum. The old folks here (both staff and diners) are super friendly and want to strike up conversation! - Elise ❥
The noodles is springy, powerful homemade chilli sauce. Loving the fried pork lard and garlic oil. Nice ambience and good service - Duchess Lim
While patrons come here to enjoy a bowl of bouncy ping-pong ball-sized beef balls, their fixed-items Hakka yong tau foo is equally yummy. All home-made goodness - Cheen The Curious
Reasonably priced economic rice served by a friendly auntie. It has a certain old school charm as well with the simple decor. - Weishan Chen
