Delicious QQ Beef 'ping pong ' balls, 2 pax ate 15 balls (mixture of beef balls & tendon balls), delicious soup & soon kueh too. Got to queue & wait for quite a while at this small old coffee shop .
While patrons come here to enjoy a bowl of bouncy ping-pong ball-sized beef balls , their fixed-items Hakka yong tau foo is equally yummy. All home-made goodness
The amount of soya beans used for their YTF soup stock is amazing. Made soup savoury sweet. A layer of beans at the bottom of my bowl!
Hearty breakfast : Delicious 'Ping-Pong' Beef Tendon Balls (10 balls per pax). Opening hours: 8am-5pm or earlier (closed on Friday). Noodles not that nice, take Skinny Kway Teow soup instead.
Alternative carpark at Jalan Besar Plaza : Decently spacious rooftop carpark near Mustafa Centre new extension and not far from this bouncy Beef Tendon Balls stall / Jalan Besar food centre too.
4 adults 2 kids ate 50 pieces of QQ Beef / Tendon "ping pong " Balls @.@ The kids related them as 'dancing balls' as the balls seem to be dancing in the bowl of soup while being served.
Found broth to be quite plain. Perhaps try it with dry mee kia instead of beehoon as I did. The beef balls are excellent, sliced beef not so much. Overall I prefer the Taiwanese style to the Hakka.
this appears to be a different kind of beef noodles ... i had mine with beehoon and beef balls cos they ran outta sliced beef . soup was tasty although everything looked kinda plain.
Quite surprising it has exceeded my expectation. Should give it a try everyone..
Beef ball is the best.
Very good beef balls . Bought 50 beef balls for $36.
