Go big or go home. $3 for more-than-you-can-eat pork over rice . Ask for the homemade garlic sauce . 'A' health rating & run by a sweet husband/wife. 20 min wait is worth it

Chez Ong

Absolute best place for cheap eats in all of NYC. Where else can you get good roast duck , cabbage and rice for $3.75? Their roast pork is the celebrity here but the duck and roast pig are the stars!

Untapped Cities

Wait! Don't leave! There's a long line for a reason. Wah Fung's $3.00 roast pork over rice is one of the best deals in the city , if not America. And it's every bit as delicious as you hope it'll be. Read more

As of July 2020, a “small” order of roast pork or chicken with steamed cabbage over rice is $4.50. You’ll get A LOT for small. Back in the day this was only $2! Prices are still unbeatable!

Christopher Lee

Be prepared to wait in line at this take-out only roast pork shop in Chinatown, but well worth the wait! Get the roast pork with cabbage over rice , so cheap yet delicious. A must for any foodie!

Andres Elizondo

Amazing, and quite literally, hole in the wall restaurant that specializes in the simplicity of a meal of BBQ pork , white rice , and that oily goodness from that BBQ

Kimmie Ohh

Come here early for the crispy roast pig as they tend to sell out. Otherwise get their char siu (roast pork ) & soy sauce chicken combo . Make sure to ask for the scallion sauce!

Alex Robertson

small roast pork tray for 3.75. Sometimes you'll wait up to 20 minutes in line . Ask for some of the green garlic sauce

Allen Yang

Wow, amazing Chinese bbq ; roast pork and fire roast pork (with the crispy skin ) are amazing. Line is often long, however, and you can get almost comparable bbq nearby without the wait.

Judy Cari

Their operating hours are different from what’s posted! We went by at 8pm And there was no wait. P.S. when there is a line , it’s so worth the wait and the line goes by fast.

Noah Xifr

Best ton of Chinese food - cabbage w Roast Chkn Duck or Pork for cheap in NYC closes 7 days by 7:30 7:45.

Fabian Martin

The pork is incredible!! Wouldn’t recommend the chicken but otherwise great value for money . 5.50$ for a small, 8$ for a large portion

T

Very cheap and delicious Cha Siu rice .

Christopher L

Roasted Pig...fatty deliciousness! That crispy skin , so good.

Casey Schoonover

Most people come for the $3.50 roast pork w/ rice and vegetable but for $6 you get roast pig and duck as well . Huge portion and so delicious! Totally worth it!

Kate

Just the best. The roast duck and char siu are my go-to

Alyssa B.

Never without a long line . Took about 30 mins for me… there was just 1 guy behind the counter! #covid. Roast pig > roast pork imo. $4.75 combo with rice/cabbage !

Jay Tiongson

The roasted pig is the best. Tried it for the first time on Monday and went back again for more 2 days later. Small portion is enough, looks are deceiving on the size.

Zeb Dropkin

I'm in line for my first time late July 2013. Looking forward, and I thought I'd give an update. Health Rating now is a B. And the roast pork over rice deal is now $3.50. I'm still stoked :)

Jess Naldo

$5.50 for this packed platter of roast pork and duck goodness over rice & cabbage . Come during off-rush hours or get stuck in that God-forsaken line . Come late and risk facing they ran out of food :(

Mai Ta

Roast duck , chicken , and pork . Basically everything! They give you a huge portion for only $1-2+!

Lori Luo

A small Roast Pork with Rice includes white rice , cabbage , and tender, sliced to order Chashu . At $3.75, it's worth the wait.

Joe Cheskin

If you can brave the line , you'll be rewarded with freshly chopped Chinese BBQ pork , duck , or chicken over rice . Huge portions and super cheap prices.

Kevin Ng

The line is worth it. Grab the smallest size, which is already a pound of food. Make sure to ask for the ginger scallion sauce.

Wesley Cheung

Get 3 meats ! Fire Roast Pork , BBQ Roast Pork and Duck for like 5 bucks! You can't finish that platter unless you weigh more than me I swear.

Jeffrey Kao

3.75 for Char Siu , Veggies , and Rice !? Amazing! ...but also, a little disturbing.

Gregory Fisher

Closed on Mondays...but 6 days a week you can get the best roast pork and roast pig (crispier & fattier)

Stephanie Wei

Cash only ! Great price for a very filling meal. Slight preference for the pork as it is boneless

bob hancock

The crispy roast pig is one of the best in Chinatown, and you can't beat the price.

Alex Robertson

small roast pork with rice and cabbage = $4.25 now. still a good deal . although it was $2.75 when I moved in lol

Ken Yu

You can get a tasty meal for under $5! Be prepared to wait in line , but it does go fast.

Kim Pham

Roast pork is poppin’ and worth the wait.

Nate Beatty

One of the most delicious meals you will ever eat. Just watch out for sharp bone shards...

Hiroko Tabuchi

It’s cheap , yes, but overrated, I feel — many other joints in Chinatown are just as good, so give those restos some love too!

Wesley Bliss

All good, fast, cheap , decent quality, but the roast pork is the star of the show.

T

Super duper cheap but worth every penny. I always get the roast pork

Jeff Savage

Pork and cabbage and green sauce . So so so so good even though I always regret eating it.

Andrew Shum

Lives up to all its hype. Long lines in a space no bigger than your closet, but worth every penny of your 5 bucks

Colton Nohelty

Great duck , chicken , and pork for a great price if you are OK with avoiding a few bones.

Daniel Malia

Avoid the duck since it has so many bones. Cha Siu all the way. The large $6 one is massive and could be shared.

Herminia Colon Mina Miyoko

Try the roast pork Char siu is a popular way to flavor and prepare barbecued pork in Cantonese cuisine .

Victor

The amount of food you get is ridiculous... and so cheap too!

Diego Rodríguez

The pork and the chicken are great. I wasn’t thrilled by the duck

Dan Cheung

Crispy pork and roast pork are to walk a hundred miles for. And then wait 30 minutes for.

Aria Roy

Get the duck , pork and chicken combo over cabbage (no rice )

Zayed Khan

They have a terrific ginger garlic scallion sauce. Get it with anything.

Chris

Cheapest and most fulfilling meal in all of New York! $2.50 for your choice of meat over rice and veggies . Think Yoshinoya but better. Hearty and delicious and excellent for you budget eaters!

Dee ????

Go around the line and head inside if you are just getting some curry fish ball and rice crepe !
