The brunch lines here are truly absurd, but once you're facing a plate of gingerbread pancakes , eggs Benedict , and perfect home fries , the annoyance of the wait will recede. Read more
I've been travelling all around the world. Their tahitian french toast is best of the best. It is their own recipie. What is special with toast is its bread is cooked and shipped only to Zazie.
So many great brunch options. So many eggs Benedict variants alone! Get 1 2 or 3 eggs depending how hungry you are!
Love that the tip is included in the menu prices. We waited 2h on a Saturday, and played some pool in the bar next door
Delectable everything! Seriously. Split 3 meals amongst friends and it was to die for. We had the eggs florentine , lemon ricotta pancakes and banana pancakes . You can also build your own mimosas !
La Mer Benedict and gingerbread pancake with poached pear and lemon curd . It's a remarkable thing to be able to order your favorite and have it taste exactly the same for 25 years 😍
buttermilk pancakes were bomb. eggs ben done any way, with home fries (really just roasted potatoes ?) were delish. chai latte came in a cute bowl & served w almond milk . expect queues even on mondays
For brunch , go early to write a name down because the wait can go up to 2-3 hours on weekends. Dinners are amazing and highly underrated. The menu is seasonal, but I get duck whenever they have it
So, get the miracle pancakes with a side of bacon or the Le Mer eggs (crab & avocado ) - the bacon has nothing on Sweet Maple but the rest makes up for it.
Brunch on the back patio of Zazie is a bucket-list item, but if you’re a true local, you know your way around the bistro classics like cassoulet and beef bourguignonne. Read more
Try to have one of the table outside with sun at 10.00am, no need to be on the list. Else be ready to wait for it ... nice service.Cream cheese on a toasted bagel and baguette 🥖 with jam and butter !
You know you are near Zazie's by the crowd out front. There are numerous varieties of eggs benedict to choose from, sweet treats like griddle cakes , corn cakes , and flavored pancakes . Read more
Best. Brunch . Ever. Try the la mer eggs benedict--crabs and avocado with home fries 👌🏼Cute patio seating . You don't tip (rare) because they pay good wages. Prepare for a 30-60min wait on weekends.
My favourite brunch in SF! Try the divorcee eggs benedict (avocado , fontina cheese and bacon ) and wish to get a seating in the outdoor internal garden . No brunch reservations taken
This French cafe is pumping out takes on classic brunch items from a kitchen the size of a small kiddie pool. Go straight to the specials. Get a side pancake and to sit quickly swoop onto front tables
Shared Florentine Benedict, crab Benedict , pancakes and french toast . Florentine was my favorite and the latte was the size of a soup bowl . Very enjoyable spot
La mer Benedict (crab is sooo scrumptious!) and the lemon ricotta pancakes (complete w the most delectable lemon curd !). Worth the wait for brunch !
The french toast is 💯. I also liked the mexican scramble . Pro tip ask for salsa and you'll get a delicious green chile sauce that goes great with the scramble.
We got lucky and sat in the back patio . The Mexico eggs were delicious, and the gingerbread pancakes are a but cakes for my taste, but the lemon curd made up for that.
Love this place! Get the miracle pancakes for a treat, or the scrambled eggs with egg plant - delicious! Usually a wait for a table but worth it!
Zazie has a longstanding tradition as a brunch venue, with gingerbread or buttermilk pancakes a favorite. There's also a prix-fixe option, including one of the restaurant 's decadent homemade desserts . Read more
If you don’t wish to wait on the sidewalk, tell the host you’ll be grabbing a drink at Finnegan’s Wake and they’ll come get you when it’s time.
Great brunch ! Outside tables are first-come, first-served. Definitely order scrambled eggs and a side of orange cinnamon batter or stuffed with caramelized bananas and walnuts french toast .
St. Albert Benedict. Most perfectly cooked poached egg I've ever had. Love that you can order 1, 2, or 3 poached eggs or pancakes so you can try lots of dishes. Raspberry jam is the bomb.
Always get the special pancake with the lemon curd . Flavors change seasonally, but always a winner. You can order just one. Also, you must order one of their many Benedict options. Enjoy!
Very popular brunch spot - highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes and French toast (get there before 10:30). Also has an underrated dinner .
Brunch here doesn't blow me away, but dinner is phenomenal. From French onion soup and moules marinières to duck leg cassoulet and rabbit fettuccine , everything is flavorful and perfectly executed.
Poached eggs were good. Miracle pancake was to die for. A must order if on the specials. We had the bread pudding version.
Share the Griddle Flight with a group of friends to get a bite of each fluffy sweet offering. Lemon curd on pancake here is to die for!
Get here before 11AM to get a table (rear patio is best), or sign up for a table, and be prepared to wait. Great eggs Benedict (esp the La Mer w/crab).
Keep an eye out for this sign. Front patio seats are first come first serve and can help cut down the long line !
Roasted vegetable plate $18. Put your name down, get coffee nearby and return in an hour on weekends before noon
Though there are seven types of Benedict here, the Valence is the winner. Crispy english muffins are topped with roasted eggplant and smothered in a spicy tomato sauce . And the home fries are a must! Read more
Super crowded lines to get in before Adele, now mega crowded lines to gain entry after. Thanks Adele! The breakfasts here are worth while. Try to get on the patio . It’s lovely!
My favorite brunch in the city with consistently amazing poached eggs (NEVER overcooked). Pro Tip: get chummy with Mario, the manager. He might help you avoid a portion of your 1+ hour wait.
Best egg bene’s in the city . Put your name in and wander the Haight a bit. It’s worth the wait.
Pro tip for the cost-conscious: split Benedict and French toast between 3 people, portions are big enough if you get the 3-piece options. Add on sides as needed.
Zazie is known for their tantalizing weekend morning menu. The Tahiti French Toast , stuffed with walnuts and caramelized bananas , will transport you to a tropical island . Read more
Great service, tables outside first come first serve. Incredible French toast , 1 slice is enough to feed 2 as a side.
Expect a long wait . However outdoor seating are first come first serve. The “Mexico” scrambled egg dish is solid! Highly recommended!
Hard to go wrong here. Poached eggs and any pancake is a great way to go. The lemon ricotta miracle pancake is my favorite! Hope to see it back sometime soon.
Dinner recommendations: Pâté for appetizer and duck breast for main course
Literally everything is amazing here. But in the rare case that you can't order everything, get the griddle sampler platter and fontainbleau egg scramble with a glass of the pomegranate mimosa .
Oatmeal brûlée is a must .. Great breakfast options .. Tip free and outstanding service 👍
La Mer Benedict w crab and avocado was very good. Tahiti French toast w stuffed bananas and walnuts is rich. 10.30am arrival on a Sunday didn't have a wait for 2. Larger parties have longer waits.
Want to feel like you're in the movie 'Amelie' while eating a delicious French inspired breakfast ? Go here but show up early or suffer the torment of waiting for up to an hour. Even on a Tuesday.
