Love this area, you never know what you might find. Suprise jazz (or other music events ), ice cream . This is where to go if you want to experience Dutch culture on a Friday or Saturday evening.

This place has grown up over the years. It's still an event spot but also has one of the best coffee spots in town , an excellent wine bar , jazz bar and tasty beers at the Troost brewery .

Quirky market on the first Sunday of the month. Mixed bag from great selection of street food to designer tat. Good for a Sunday stroll.

Fantastic event hall which is hosting various conferences , shows and concerts . Ambiance is great inside, loved it.

Outdoor concert festivals are a common event at Westerpark. With big acts like Radiohead and Lenny Kravitz, instead of shelling out €60, just hang out in the park and listen with the other music fans. Read more

Everybody's talking about Vondelpark, but I prefer this venue! Great environment with several interesting F&B's in the neighborhood .

The park seems nice, but perhaps it's prettier in the summer months . Looks devastated in winter and the seagulls take over!
