St Katharine Docks

Central London's only marina redeveloped from the former commercial docks designed by Thomas Telford - this vibrant community is one of the capital's hidden gems !

Good place for people-watching. There are often some incredible yachts moored here, and it's a pleasant place to sit with a drink and watch the world go by.

Such a beautiful place, almost hidden, ideal for a peaceful walk, great cafés and restaurants here too, excellent place to visit especially during the summer.

Great for a walk on a sunny day. Definitely recommend checking out the The Dickens Inn pub for a pint. Beautiful 18th century wooden pub .

The Royal Foundation of St Katharine Hospital + church were demolished in 1826 (not 1827) and it is most likely that the '11000 population' was spin to suit the planners. Accuracy is important.

Absolutely brilliant hidden and quiet harbour near the Tower of London with nice restaurants and views surrounded with refurbished docks and warehouses .

Beautiful place ????.. So relaxing & there is a variety of cafes & restaurants .. Outdoor seating is a must in the good weather ????????

Relaxing place to walk. Visit at Friday lunchtime for a selection of different World foods at the market , next to the Dicken's Inn . Not the cheapest though.

So pleasant place to spend time in the evening. There are a lot of cafés , where you can enjoy marvelous atmosphere of this place.

If you work in the Tower Bridge area, it's worth taking a walk around here for some pleasant sites. Few independent stores here too.

A lovely, vibrant marina , hidden away next to Tower Bridge , with lots of bars , restaurants and cafes .

Great place to moor and exlore, Tower Hill close by. Good facilities, Waitrose off East Dock & The Dickens Inn make for a pleasurable stay.
