Low key restaurant with high quality food at a reasonable price. Been coming here for 15 years and never had a bad meal. P.S wear washable clothes , you'll smell like the restaurant when you leave.

Umm the sandwiches were just enjoyable! Bursting with flavor, the place is so tiny relatively and yet packed. I can understand why! Must try in Richmond.

When I was here a year ago, the portobello press & plantains were dry, bland. But today, the California huevos & plantains were the best food decision I've made in awhile. Good work, will return!

Everything is good. Try the tostones or empanadillas to start. Order the Cuban sandwich or California Huevos . Don't leave without a Cuban coffee and Tres Leches Cake .

It's a small place, so make sure your whole party is there before you try for a table. Also, sit at the bar if it's just you and watch them work in the open grill kitchen.

Go for brunch , get The California Rancheros , the best take on Huevos Rancheros I've ever had. My own will now be molded after this delectable dish of pintos & eggs .

Split the vegetarian paella with a friend and still had to take home leftovers! I can't wait to take visitors here to show them how awesome Richmond's food scene is.

Portabello Press is vegetarian friendly and enough to take home for a second meal! Also recommend the black bean soup if you're less hungry.

Best Cuban sandwiches around. They also are one of the few places to serve Jupina (pineapple soda ) and plantains . If you have a sweet tooth be sure to buy both.

The basic cuban is fantastic, but if they have the Bar-b-cuban, go for that. Never eaten anything so fast in my life.
