Far from the best BBQ in Austin but not bad. Can't go wrong with the brisket , ribs , sweet potato fries and pecan pie (or cobblers ). Family friendly , if your kids like BBQ of course!

Nice to have a solid BBQ spot in the east side. Excellent ribs . Brisket good but not the best. Their sauce is sweet but good. The side options are fairly limited but who needs sides? Meat!!

Brisket . They give you a choice of how you want your meat: dry, medium or burnt ends . Go with the burnt ends ! Ask for Adam with a beard and glasses he's amazing!!!

Go for the beef rib and pecan pie ending. Better to pick your meats a la carte than go for the all you can eat option.

Brisket can be inconsistent, but good to very good usually. Pork ribs are always good...beef ribs are unfortunately not. Spicy sauce is great..buy a bottle to take home.

The brisket and turkey was great, so was the tater salad . But I'm more of a Hard 8 kind of girl. Happy we tried Salt Lick, but won't miss it when we go back to Dallas

First visit here during a conference across the street. Great choice! Atmosphere,service, and service was excellent. The food was out of this world.

When in Texas, get the beef . If you want pork , go to the Carolinas or St. Louis. The brisket is really good here, and the beef ribs are amazing!

I'm a vegetarian & I usually like BBQ places b/c of the sides. I don't see what the big deal is about this place (& neither did my meat-eating friends). "Bread " is hot dog buns w/ sesame seeds - WTF?!

I got a kind of sampler, everything was delicious. Mustard BBQ sauce it's pretty different thing to check classic Texas BBQ sauce .

good sausage . and the sauce. omg the sauce!!! (both regular & spicy is good). oh, the pulled pork is good with their awesome bread ..make a sandwich out of it..

The ribs are delicious. Brisket is very tasty as well . I am not a huge fan of their sauce but as an experience it is hard to beat.

The brisket is amazing. Order the free bread and eat it with their sauce and enjoy some amazing BBQ .

Ribs were excellent, turkey was good, brisket was okay. We liked the potato salad , too. Bbq sauce is mustard based but really good!

Get the family style meal and eat until you have to stop. The potato salad is abysmal, but the beans, slaw and meats are quite good.

Ask for burnt ends : it's the glorious "bark" of the brisket , the apex of flavor due to the Maillard Reaction - typically crunchy with bits of moist brisket or fat cap.

When you can't make it all the way to the original in Driftwood, TX, this location is just as good. The brisket is to die for.

One of the best bbq places in the area. Take the whole family and have a great time! Live music also!

Great food and great service! If you want some good bbq try this place out. Have family or friends with you, go family style . Baby Ribs served on sundays!

Tremendous sausage ! The peach tones of the beans was a delightful surprise. Highly recommended.

Fantastic BBQ sauce and their Brisket is amazing! I highly recommend you purchase some of their BBQ sauce on the way out (you'll put it to good use and get your money's worth).

The beef rib and brisket was terrible. I had trouble even getting my fork into some pieces of the brisket . They were both WAY over done. Used to be a great place, but this was horrible. Not acceptable

Great food, good service ! Two normal size adults can split a Bbq plate for lunch . Family style service available for Texas sized appetites.

They will give you free samples if you can't make up your mind :)

Wow, it was fantastic. I'm Korean, but the BBQ was so good for me. Reasonable price, reasonable quantity, and best quality. :-)

Try the Sliced Brisket Sandwich - This brisket is good it should be a sin. Only thing that could be better, is if the pickels were sliced instead of in chunks.

Don't be shy to ask for extra bread and pickles ! 😋

They have other sides not on the menu ! Ask about them. Potato wedges , fries and sweet potato fries .

There is no good vegetarian option here. Their idea of a vegetarian meal is beans, potato salad and coleslaw
