Really friendly staff , happy to explain things! Lockers available. If visiting with baby, leave the stroller at the front and use a baby carrier. View from the cafe at the roof top is spectacular!

Be prepared to queue, esp. on weekends, but the visit is definitely worth the wait. Amazing what they made out of an old Nazi building. The zoo is small, but nice. Amazing view from the top floor !

Free-ranging bats, birds and monkeys plus exotic sea dwellers plus viewing platform , all in a WWII air defense tower. Watch out for peeing bats! One of the best places to visit in Vienna.

The perfect place in Vienna if it’s raining and you have kids, but many others will think the same. To avoid queuing for 30 mins under the rain, book your tickets on the Internet one hour in advance.

Great view form the rooftop terrace , very children friendly environment . If you plan to go there more often I recommend the annual pass for EUR 30.

You can easily spend a few hours in there. Extremely kids friendly . Apart from the aquarium , there’s also a tropical garden with birds and monkeys .

Yearly ticket is the best option, it pays off after 2 visits and you have an unlimited access to the amazing view point on the top and can skip the long waiting line on weekends ;)

Fairly crowded on weekends but a lovely view from the top. Instead of walking up all the stairs, get the lift to the top floor and work your way back down.

Very impressive building! The flak tower renovation was terrific. The aquarium itself is very cool, with great species and huge tanks! Worth the visit.

Sea horses, chameleon and poisonous frogs! Get onto the terrace and enjoy the view over Vienna! From the second visit on a year pass makes more sense. Enjoy!

It's an ever changing jem right in the heart of Vienna. An absolute must visit for every tourist traveler.

Amazing place! Little monkeys jump all around, all kinds of turtles , fish , krokodile, lizards, etc. On the roof - best city view . A must to visit with kids.

Beautiful aquarium , even compared to more famous ones in other cities like in Genoa or San Diego.

Have 50 Cents ready for the locker (next to the wardrobe). Take everything you might need with you - once you are in, you are in (and you also will not get the 50 Cents back).

On Sunday, come early morning to avoid the crowd. Alternatively, book tickets on their website to avoid queuing on the ticket counter (possible only for Austrian residents).

Good range of animals in a very interesting building! Lots of development work going on (Oct 2018) but will be even better in the future

Huge aquariums , tropic garden with free-flying birds, monkeys and crocodiles . What else do you want? ;)

The best thing was the view . Too many visitors in the small rooms. And you could smell the toilets in almost all of the floors. Save the money and head over to the Vienna zoo Schönbrunn.

Ask for CITY SPOTS, the annotated City Map of Vienna (free!). If you like HAUS DES MEERES, then you may like the other recommendations as well .

Horribly overpriced restaurant on the 11 th floor! Not to mention the attitude of staff and the food. Otherwise a perfect place for both kids and adults!

viel Fische , aber die beiden offenen "Dschungel"-Bereiche sind alleine schon einen Besuch wert, die Geschichte des Flakturms und die Aussicht vom Balkon sind auch interessant

Tolle Mischung aus Zoo und Aquarium in einem alten Flakturm ! Freilaufende kleine Äffchen, umherfliegende Vögel im Tropenhaus sind eines der Highlights, inkl Rundumblick auf Wien u Cafe mit free WLAN !

Hier ist Schlange stehen angesagt . Am besten im Aushang informieren wann Vorführungen/Fütterungen stattfinden und antizyklisch planen. Café mit fantastischer Aussicht auf dem Dach .

Die 20€ eintritt lohnen sich wirklich. Vielleicht eher unter der Woche gehen, da am Wochenende viel los ist. Die Plattform auf dem Dach bietet auch noch einen tollen Blick über Wien.

Tickets am besten online vorab kaufen, Spinde nur mit Münze. Beeindruckendes Erlebnis im Herzen Wiens, aber zumindest als wir da waren sehr voll.

Om het dakterras te bezoeken, moet je inkom betalen voor het museum, dat meer een grote verzameling aquaria is. Fijn voor een regenachtige dag of als je Wenen al eens bezocht hebt.
