Flight of the Hippogriff

This ride has the best views of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, definitely the best ride to take photos, but if the line is long its probably not worth it to you unless you are a true potter fan

The only place in the park you will see Rubeus Hagrid's house. Decent ride and obviously a must do.

very nice ride for the younger crowd; a nice, interactive coaster of sorts! Two thumbs up for the under 10 crowd and their parents!

Great first coaster for wee Muggles. Grownups will find the seats a little tight. Hard to justify more than a 15 minute wait.

Nice!! Riding is not too extreme, good for everyone. And you will see the nice view of Hogwarts.

Nice, short ride . Bonus is seeing Hagrid's hut while waiting in line ! And Buckbeak when you're first taking off for the ride.

You get to see Hagrid's hut and an animatronic Buckbeak in line , but the ride itself is about 30 seconds. If you did the castle first like we did, quite a let down...unless you're 5 years old.

Great alternative for those of us who don't much like the bigger, upside down coasters!

Hygrid's Hut is the only worthy part. Skip it and save your time for more Forbidden Journey rides! Take the single rider and you can finish it within 15 minutes.

One of the best rides I have ever been on! Had to keep picking up my feet cause I thought they were going to hit! Awesome.

Make sure you bow to the Hippogriff!

If you have younger kids and teens in the group, take the little ones on Flight of the Hippogriff while the teens go on Dragon Challenge .

Come at the end of the night after 9 PM under 10 min wait...

My 5 yr old loves this. He rides while mom goes on Forbidden Journey . Great for little ones.

A good coaster if you don’t know if you like coasters

It's brilliant, I went on it 10 times over two days

Fun, but it's the shortest ride ever. :( Wish it was longer -- but Dragon Challenge makes up for that!

Great photo ops but ride is for kids

Supposedly a kid ride but dont worry, round folk fit too! Myself size 24 and my almost equally round sister fit in one seat lol

More of a "little kiddy" ride but still pretty fun. Small rollercoaster .

Great view of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade from the top of the coaster.

Try and hold your breath for the entire ride. Seriously, it's that short !

Unless you're a HUGE Potterhead, skip this one, it's wicked short and barely worth the wait.

If you're tall you're going to have a hard time fitting in the carts.

Take a picture at the top of the first drop!

Very little shade in the line so beware if it is a long wait .

Not very scary but it will give you a glimpse of the real hippogriffs flying. Waited long time for this one.

Perfect roller coaster for first time kids (5-8 yes old)

If you love photography , there is an Hippogriff on your left as soon as the ride begins. Other than that, do not waste your time. Not worth.

Can you break our record? 68 times in one day in July of 2012.

Not worth it if the wait is long. They did a great job with the potter decorations on line though. Coaster is average at best. Hulk ride is 100x better.
