Our favorite Toddy Cold Brew is the rotating bean selection at Culture Espresso in Midtown. Yes, Midtown of all places. Their cold brew is always complex and strong with a sweet, bitter-less finish. Read more

The chocolate chip cookies here, especially when they're fresh off the oven, are among the best! The coffee is also among the best in the area

Denis Sosnovtsev

I love Culture but I'd recommend you avoid the drip coffee . It's unspectacular. On the flip side, the best latte I've had in my life was made here.

Ashley

Coffee is good but the chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING. They always have fresh batches coming out of the oven so you’re guaranteed to have a warm, gooey cookie . Hands down best cookies in the city .

ℳ????????♍

One of the best coffee shops in Manhattan. They have the best chocolate chip cookies . I dream about their cookies that's how amazing they are! Latte (iced/hot) is perfect every single time

Taccara Barrier

The fresh baked cookies are fantastic! The baristas know how to really make a perfect hot beverage. Zero personality or genuine hospitality from the baristas but hey it's NY.

Good coffee . A little noisy when it's crowded , so if you're looking for a quiet place to work , might have to go elsewhere. But if you're looking to grab something on the go, this is a good spot.

Kenny Ren

I usually don't eat sweets or deserts , but the chocolate cookie here is one of the rare occasions where I have to give in, a must visit every time I am back in NYC. Latte is rich and flavorful!

Cory

This medium-small espresso haven is truly worth a visit. Do not let the typical line outside the door worry you! The employees are well timed from order to pickup and the atmosphere is lively !

Summer Izkovich

Love this place! The lines get pretty crazy. Came in here since I work near by, and I love that you can use your laptop! Great Kyoto :) Def enough space to sit. Also great for fast coffee , in & out.

Kitt Hod

Embrace the chocolate chip cookie , but split one with a friend, they are RICH. The chai latte is perfect for non-coffee drinkers.

Belin Selcen Beydağ-Taşöz

The staff is super unfriendly, I smiled and thanked them a couple of times but they didn't even care to look up. However the coffee is amazing. Their flat white is one of the best I had in New York!

Joury AlS

Decent Cortado . Great chocolate chip cookie . The cookies won first place as the best choco cookie in nyc 2017!

Douglas Elliman

A chic environment with an incredible aroma and beautiful chandeliers . Their chocolate chop cookies could be the best in the city ! We love the Americano , it truly doesn't need any milk or sugar.

Erin B

Amazing flat whites (reminiscent of Sydney coffee shops ), delicious donuts too! Love the vibe.

Ben Drucker

One of the few bright spots in midtown. They have some crazy cold brew specials in the summer that are worth trying (Nitro). Seating is a little tight but you can stand at the center table.

Tim Cox

Have you had the chocolate chip cookie ? Why have you not had the chocolate chip cookie yet? Their chocolate chip cookie is the best in the city . They even make the chocolate chip cookie themselves.

Michelle R

I come here again and again a d it's always amazing. The staff can be occupied with themselves and talking but I've also had super friendly help there too. The cookies and mocha are the bomb.

Mariana Pantalena

They Have a very good expresso . But they're Secret is The chocolate chip cookie . They warm it up and the inside melts. Never had a cookie this great.

Chelsea Balkan

#fabuLIST #dubiDO one of the best spots to grab a coffee in the area and relax after shopping. Love the flat white and latte . Seats are limited.

Julian Modesto

The chocolate-chip cookie is 3rd after Levain and the City Bakery . It tastes familiar and simple and you'll make a fool of yourself trying to recreate it, but you'll want to try

Victoria

Love this trendy little spot! There's usually a line but it moves quickly. Ice coffee with almond milk is my go-to and the chocolate chip cookies are worth the calorie fest!

Jen Shin

cortado is my go-to! come early for the choco chip banana bread because it's gone fast and the choco chip cookies after 10am.

Daniel Baird

I had never seen a single review of this place before going.  My wife found it and told me to go.  The Flat White is very good, and the chocolate chip cookies are super good.

Susanna Soo

Flat white is on point and good balanced roast. Cold brew is highly recommended here but not my taste. Also the chocolate cookie here is amazing!!

Eric Morris

Excellent coffee spot in midtown. Everything is on point from the huge cookies to the cold brew . Try the Flat White it's incredible, maybe the best in the city .

Rachel Bindel

The espresso is amazing, the atmosphere is on point with its music and the ladies are super chill . Drink your coffee there so you don't miss out on the latte art .

Ben D

Rotating cast of roasts, and consistently great coffee (I've encountered Counter Culture , Intelligentsia , Stumptown , and now Sightglass). These guys are heroes for bringing non-generic to midtown.

Alberto Simon

One of my favorite places for coffee and they have amazing baked goods like cookies and muffins too

Chenyu

Barista Gavin is so knowledgable about all things coffee &most importantly he is so passionate! Great coffee & vibe in midtown. ;) try Kyoto iced coffee

Luna Jay

Any espresso coffees (flat white , cappuccino , mmmm) + freshly baked cookies = YES. If you're lucky, you'll be able to smell and get the fresh Matcha Pistachio cookie .

Leslie T

Get the Kyoto Iced Coffee ! It's a strong drink that'll wake you up. They use a glass coffee syphon that slowly drips into a glass balloon-like pot. Love it! :)

Find a Coffice

WiFi was acting up on our last visit, but the pour over and green tea cookie were delicious. The vibe is great, but the space is limited, making this a perfect spot for a quick stop between meetings.

John A

Really great coffee shop with local bakery . Coffee is solid - rotating roasts keep it interesting. Recommend: home made poptarts , and chocolate chip cookies .

Jenna Wortham 

Protip: Time your visit for the late afternoon when they've just pulled out a sheet of fresh chocolate chip cookies out of the oven. Warning: You may die of happiness.

The Corcoran Group

One of the better places to grab coffee in midtown. We order the Flat White and a chocolate chip cookie , which are to die for!

PureWow

Maggie Liu

A refuge in the abyss of good coffeeshops (aka midtown). Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for - giving Le Vain a run for their money with their gooey centers and crispy edges.

Elie Bleier

Great coffee , tasty cookies , awesome music . Better when not busy with the midtown office-dweller vibe. Sometimes friendly , sometimes too-cool-for-school staff .

Fiachra Maguire

Grab a coffee , a donut and just sit by the window. Take in some of the hustle and bustle of NYC as locals fly through the door.

Deepak Shrivastava

Great coffee spot - although the chai soy latte was amazing. Breakfast muffin hit the spot too. Seemed like am East Village outpost in the heart of boring midtown

Alfredo Aponte

This place made me a believer of Ice Coffee with it's nitro cold brew . How I would describe it... velvety smooth with a touch of sweetness similar to honey . (Heart Roasters)

They have a seasonal maple cappuccino which is absolutely delicious! And their chocolate chip cookies - fresh out of the oven, gooey in all the right places, decadent and sweet and sinful - yum.

Joycott

A flat white is an Australia/New Zealand espresso beverage that is making it's way to artisan shops in America. These folks have the best flat white in NYC.

Andrew Tebbenham

Great espresso and the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in NYC (/ on par with Levain!)

Sherry Wang

Sometimes finding a hip independent place in midtown feels like visiting an exhibition about hipsters , but in a good way. Soy flat white here is great!

Claudio

Great work space, friendly staff and great beverages. Try the Heart blend from Colombia/Ethiopia, great body and amazing acidity.

Peter Cucè

Vibrant space, often a line out the door, one of the most consistent shops in the city and best coffee in midtown.
