The Teas and Sake are great. In the winter, there is a Matsutake feast. Also the Kimchi is fantastic. Remember to have easy shoes , it's required to remove shoes before taking your seat.
Korean (vegan ) temple food. Great ambience, good drinks selection, large menu focusing on mushrooms , roots, vegetables and tofu . Good non dairy desserts .
If you stick to a vegetarian diet, this spot serves up meat-free Korean delicacies. Try the organic bibimbap ($26), mixed rice served with vegetables , greens and/or avocado in a stone bowl. Read more
Vegan Korean food . Paradise. From the decor, seating to the comforting food , love everything this place has to offer. Menu is huge so take ur time. Been here like 3 times now & never disappointed
the crispy sweet and sour mushrooms are tasty and accessible
Even meat lovers swoon for Hangawei. It's vegetarian Korean food in the coziest setting imaginable. Get leek pancakes , the spicy tofu dish with the kimchi , and the broccoli with garlic .
Behind its large wooden entrance doors you'll find a quiet escape from a bumbling K-town. Options are health-conscious, vegetarian-friendly, and plenty. Make sure you take off your shoes first!
Menu changes daily & seasonally... But if they have it, get the pumpkin porridge , todok salad & kimchi ! This is one of my favorite vegetarian & vegan (gluten free options too!)restaurants in the city .
This restaurant was amazing. The heated floor for your feet was a nice touch. Try the nirvana drink if you love ginger ! I ate the spicy mushroom dinner it was awesome and plenty of food!
So authentic , you're required to take off your shoes and sit in sunken chairs. The tofu stone bowl, fritters and Black Forest cake are all amazing! Try a soju cocktail too!
So serene. You have to take off your shoes and there are these sunken tables you sit at. reasonably priced for the ambience you're getting. Must try the hot stone bowl veggie rice . Food not so spicy .
Organic food, tasty and beautiful atmosphere with candels. Forbidden shoes . Only vegetarian meals . Top selection. Enjoy your dinner .
While not wearing any shoes (don't worry, you get slippers to go to the bathroom ), try the Sesame Leaf Tofu Patties, they're a real treat! Read more
Very good vegetarian Korean dishes . The veg tempura boat was a fave!
Go earlier in evening with a reservation for a more relaxing experience. We went at 10pm on a Saturday but they stop serving many dishes and drinks and staff are rushing around with one foot out door.
A totally vegan restaurant that offers a peaceful respite from the busy street of Koreatown. A Korean destination for everyone, vegan and otherwise.
The pear juice and citrus juice are fantastic so is the pancake appetizer platter as well as the blueberry coconut cake for dessert . Delicious food and good service .
kimchi soup is craaazy ???????? safe haven for veggies to take their non-veggie friends and everyone still ends up happy
Great food and experience. Pricey but worth it. Highly recommended for both veggies and non-veggies. Their vegan cheesecake is a must.
this is great vegetarian place , nice traditional style decor and seating- no shoes required :-) everything that we tasted has that fresh taste, the Avocado bowl was great, tea 's ..enjoy
A one of a kind 'low level' sit down and East Asian experience. Food is great along with their service. Great for dates or large groups.
Korean vegetarian food in zen ambiance. Enjoyed my spicy tofu dish and the assortment of sweet potatoes patties appetizer . Good for a date or for groups. Cocktails were forgettable. Pricey .
vegan and vegetarian food , absolutely delish and the atmosphere can't be beaten. You feel like you have been transported a long way from NYC. Many dishes are rice based.
Stuffed shitake , tofu clay pot , avocado stone pot, and gluten free black forest cake . To die for. Coming back weekly.
All very good and wide variety of food. I'm very much a meat eater and I still enjoyed the dinner very much.
Simply wonderful. Light eaters may find the portions quite large. It's a place that you should try everything on the menu at least once.
The food here is absolutely delicious! Even though a little over priced for K-town, it offers a really good ambience and service!
The food is great, especially the pancakes/pajun, kimchi , and spicy chili mushrooms . The drinks and service are just meh. Email or call in advance for a reservation !
The Mongolian Hot Pot comes with wild bracken shoots, mushrooms and other mixed vegetables and arrives to your table still sizzling.
Be prepared to take off your shoes ! fantastic food and atmosphere; service was lacking. The rice bowls and Maitake mushroom dish is nom worthy. Lychee wine is sweet but good. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Absolutely love. Healthy and delicious! Kimchi and tofu , and the rice bowls ❤
Had a truly delicious and unique dining experience. Loved the avocado stone bowl and the lychee wine is pleasantly sweet and refreshing. Will definitely return!
Cocktails devoid of alcohol , dessert portions were so small. Only saving grace was the pancake combo. Take back the zagat rating and michellin guide entry soon!
Get the crispy mushroom sweet & sour dish. So good. Be prepared to take your shoes off for the dining area. Wear clean socks.
Lovely atmosphere and authentic service. Creative and interesting food. Stood up nicely to similar experience in Seoul.
The best vegetarian Korean food . The atmosphere is great! You sit on pillows and the staff is very attentive.
Their crispy mushroom dish is addictive. Love the dining area. Wear clean socks - you have to take your shoes off.
