Last Post is a other event Ypres located in Belgium.
Meensestraat 8900 Ypres Belgium
You have to be early if you want to see something. Lot's of people!
Unfortunately it’s all getting a little bit touristy . If people want to take phone calls of aren’t willing to show respect then why show up?
Last Post, every day at 8pm. Be on time or even earlier. Silent and memorable atmosphere during the ceremony. Don't applaud afterwards.
Its been a long time since ww but these kind of traditions makes us to remind what happend. It also triggered my young kids curiosity about the ww's and that is a good thing! One should attend this.
If you hate busy places and you'll really see the Last Post. The only days with a little public is on Christmas Eve & Christmas ! ;).
Was a very moving tribute to those who went to war and came back or didn't come back. Very emotional but very crowded . Suggest getting there early.
Short people should arrive early if they want to see something
Very impressive. We will never forget you.
Impressive!
Breathtaking
Lest we forget!
Indrukwekkende stilte...
The last post
Aangrijpend
Indrukwekkende stilte tijdens deblastbpost.
Great place to sit and watch the Menin Gate and have a drink of Bocker - Toby Gebbie
Impressive monument to remember the First World War. Each day at 20.00 o’clock sharp they perform the Last Post. It’s the closest thing you can get to the First World War. - Werther Veulemans
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice outside garden/terrace. Good selection of drinks - Mike Tew
