Loved the sweet, smartass staff and the ribs , onion soup , & garlic butter (on the bread & baked potato ). Be prepared to wait an hour+ even on a rainy Monday in the off-season. Worth it.

Get the Mixed Ribs . Best meal of my life. You may have to wait an hour for a table but you can wait in the pub across the way and they will collect you when it's ready. Well worth it.

The onion soup is great, best we ever ate. The lamb shoulder is amazing and huge, enough for 2. Order baked patato as side dish. Garlic butter bread as starter. Save some of the butter for the patato.

Snail & Entrecote steak was great! The place is small & cozy , you cannot make reservation so first come first served! The guy who take care of outdoor seats is kind & funny

Ok, you most possibly will have to wait a couple of hours (they have a bar across the street where you can drown your time in some wonderful beer ) but IT IS WORTH IT. You like meat? COME HERE.

Try the mix rib ! We really liked this place a lot, great service, excellent food! I really loved the garlic butter served with the baked potato , ate the whole bread with it :)

I really like this place. It's a small, loud and crazy pub with an excellent grill. Try the lamb shoulder or the sirloin steak . The escargots in oil with garlic are very good too!

Ribs are fall off the bone good & the coleslaw is yummy! If you are very hungry, get the onion soup . The waiters are super nice too! Make sure to get there early or there will be a long wait !

Don't go there if you look for a fancy atmosphere or for sophisticated service...but if you are looking for the best spare ribs ever it's a must! The meat is absolutely amazing!

We had smoked ribs and chicken , lamb chops and tenderloin steak here. Everything's delicious incl. baked potatoes and garlic breads . Staff were friendly with jokes and compliments for empty plates.

One main dish is enough for two. Mixed ribs is delicious. The restaurant is like a beer bar and is small. We arrived 17:30h and after this people waiting 45 minutes.

You have to try lamb shoulder , it is really enough for two people... Enjoy your meal 👍🏻

If you love meat, you cannot miss this place. Price is very reasonable. Try to go early because the place is always crowed and usually you have to wait. Spare ribs are a must.

All I can say is YUM!!! I love the Smoked Ribs . If there is a wait you can go across the street to the bar and the wait staff will come get you when your table is ready.

Ribs ribs ribs thats all you need to get. Can easily split one order for two people. Staff is rude but I think they do it as part of the atmosphere. VERY small so get there early or prepare to wait.

You should definetely try Lamb Shoulder with garlic potatoe . One is enough for two people! It opens at 4 and they don't get any reservations . PERFECT TASTE👍👍👍

You have to wait for at least half an hour but it is worth it. Staff are funny and kind place is small and cute . Steak is better than ribs .

I have been at this restaurant twice 2015 and 2016, in my opinion it's the best restaurant in Amsterdam. Mixed ribs with cold beer and enjoy your time.

Ordered lamb shoulder and mixed ribs . The smoked ribs tasted better than the original ones as I liked them more juicy and tender.

Best grilled ribs in town though don't expect the fall off the bone BBQ type. Huge portions with straightforward service, always worth the wait.

OMG the ribs ! What ribs ! Enormous portions , but be patient as you will probably have to wait for a while in the bar in front of the cafe . They don't take reservations

Great ribs ! One of the rare moments when cheapest menu item is the tastiest! Unfortunately, no reservations . So you might need to wait quite a while before being seated.

This place was brilliant. Ate the best T-bone steak here so far and even my girlfriend was very happy with mixed ribs . This is the place I would recommend to my friends.

There's really only three options to consider: ribs , mixed ribs or lamb shoulder . Don't fill up on the bread and sauces if you want to finish the lamb shoulder . Trust me.

It takes a while to get a table, with good reason. The meat is excellent and their ribs are to die for.

The ribs (regular) are heavenly. You can't make a reservation but can have your name written down and wait in the bar , which is in the other side of the alley. They'll come and call you.

This is a truly spectacular restaurant : amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and very kind guys running the place. I had the best spare ribs I ever ate.

Spare Ribs ... you have to try it. Don't jump on the table. First ask servers to arrange you a table. Servers little bit rude. I guess it's because of we are not local people. Any way just try :-)
