Northern Light Inn

Excellent place to stay & (hopefully) see the NL. Staff are very friendly and helpful with everything incl Xfers to airport & Blue Lagoon . Haven't tried the lamb yet, but the other food is good.

Very strange venue hotel with view on the factory . The restaurant is good the breakfast a bit to standard. Nice rooms very clean and large.

This hotel is close (15 min walking) to the blue lagoon with free shuttle to KEF airport and blue lagoon

Pop in after Blue Lagoon for a lunch or dinner , food is worth that. And really nice service.

Make sure to make your own blue lagoon reservation !

Simple pan-fried cod lunch was great, fresh and good value .

free transfers to KEF airport make this a good "last night in Iceland " destination.

You can smell the nearby geothermal action. This is either a good thing or a bad thing.

Lamb prime was great. Goat cheese salad , to kill for!

Good for overnight sleep 20 minutes away from the airport . Other than that, cannot see why people rave about it

The staff will come wake you when the lights are active!

I don't know about Richard, but this was easily the worst lamb I've had in Iceland . The potato that came with it was pretty good though.
