You can follow the trail all the way to Tobay beach located on Ocean Pkwy. It's roughly a 19 mile round-trip ride.
watch Jone 's Beach 4th of July fireworks from here (if you can find a spot to put your blanket or chair). go all the way in and get up on one of the hills in the back.

Walk along the Wantagh Parkway or stay in the park . Both are good walks.

go sleigh riding / snow tubing and snow boarding on the hills in the back but watch out if you sleigh down the hills into the parking lot - a few light poles there to avoid
