This location is home to Fort Necessity, built in 1754 under the command of George Washington during a prelude battle to the French and Indian War .
Make sure to check out the Jr. Ranger program. It's a great way for the kids to learn about trading in the frontier during the 1700's & the conflict between the English, French, & Native Americans.
