Great location, right between Strip District and the Fountain . Bunch of highly rated restaurants in the area on Penn. While Liberty is a larger (crowded ) street, Penn has more to offer pedestrians.
Great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the service is great.
The walkway to the convention center is great for bad weather or access to the ballroom but a walk down 10th St. to the East Lobby of the convention center is quicker access to the exhibit halls.

The high floors facing East are a great view . You can often see an entire train crossing the Allegheny River .
Loving the new remodel, beautiful! We have avoided the formerly outdated Westin for years, but will definitely be back now!
Large marquee hotel for the brand in a good sized city yet no club lounge ? Nice rooms but water temps and thermostats in rooms don't always work properly.
The fitness center here is actually very good - free weights and machines enough for an intense workout.
Service is great! Convenient to downtown and the Strip District .

For a good hotel stay, I care most about non-bleachy smelling sheets and a wonderful bathroom . This place has both!

If there is one thing that they really need to improve on is the free wifi . It is almost unusable - feels like dialup all over again!
Pro tip: Make sure you push 'Close Door' on the elevators to speed up the process. This ensures everyone gets up/down faster.
You need to have a keycard in the slot near the door if you want the lights on in your living room and bathroom .
Go Green. Leave the card on your door at night to earn 500 Starwood points or $5 off at the restaurant . You can't go wrong with the points though.
Close to great shops & the stadiums .
Don't room here with slobs. They get so angry at you for the littlest things, even if your blankets are on the floor.

If you want a cool room. Take the a/c down to 60. The thermodynamic stat is way off.

The room thermostats need to be adjusted cooler than you think. They seem to be off about 3-5 degrees.
